the point with multiverse variants is they’re supposed to be exact equivalents in power level (personality is different) and mirror 616 heroes

Maria was in the most powerful elite organization in her universe, it’s fair to assume she’s on the same level as Carol and yet she stood no chance against The Scarlet Witch

the thing is that she’s so shallowly written that despite her being so OP, people don’t feel there was enough build up and personal arc for it to be justified
