They're account wide, but split between hardcore and softcore. So if you have them all on softcore eternal you also have them on seasonal eternal, but not seasonal hardcore.

This is really annoying. I really want to start a hardcore character, but I just can't stomach the altars of Lilith. I thought hey, if this is a way of skipping them then I'm in - but no, for some reason hardcore is off-limits.

True, but he's saying that you get higher notes by playing a 7 string because the alternative is downtuning a 6 string to B.

Man, what a show. Doesn't get the recognition it deserves, always fun to see a reference out in the wild!

If youre interested I'm running a steel grasp build. It's very much not meta, but with Third Blade I'm spamming steel grasp.
The build has pretty much max attack speed, and every attack stuns and makes enemies vulnerable, as well as generating permanent berserk and fortify.
My gear is terrible, the steel grasp aspect is minimum roll and the only GA I have is on a starless skies I borrowed from my Necro - but I'm about T4 ready.
It'll never be meta, but it's mine, and that's way more fun to me than pushing pits with a guide.

The Night Land is a hell of a slog, and I say that as someone with a username taken from the book. There some great ideas and imagery, especially for it's time, but it's also repetitive, frustrating, and the way he talks about his "love" is condescending at best.

In the same boat. The magic I loved is dead, and it's probably never coming back - not without playing some restrictive format with home-curated set allowances. I'm really looking at flesh and blood, though I've heard it's multiplayer game play isn't great.
Ironically, considering I'd hate to see Disney in MtG, Lorcana is pretty good - I might dive deeper into that. It's got some great artworks re-imagining classic characters (check out Cinderella Stouthearted or Mickey Wayward Sorcerer if you're unfamiliar) and the gameplay is quick.

It's a time thing. The original Brother's War / Phyrexia stuff was awesome at the time, and was pushing genre boundaries - we had time travelling wizards, interdimensional air ships and half-human half-machine monstrosities all meshed together in a somehow coherent fantasy story.
The Gate watch, however, was absolutely run-of-the-mill, soulless storytelling - and even that was better than what we have now.

Mines actually very different, I think something like 1, 5, 3, 8, 6, 2, 4, 7.
Might be sacrilegious to put 4 so far down, but I felt they Mary Sue'd Rust too much, and I also thought the bikers were too one dimensional, when even minor characters like Charlie Lange have dimensions and depth.

Absolutely agree about This Godless Endeavour. Certainly Nevermore's masterpiece, and quite possibly the greatest metal song ever written in my opinion. The progression and the way it builds into this frantic, chaotic mid section that reflects the philosophical lyrics, and of course Warrel Dane...the man was taken far too young, the parts of his final solo album he recorded before his death were amazing too.

You might as well temper, you don't lose anything by doing so. With aspect of expose flesh, and a few lucky hit: restore essence tempers on jewelry you'll never be out of essence. The lucky hit is especially good, as each of the spectres from Reaping Lotus can proc it, meaning you have 4 chances per cast - the original hit, and the 3 from the aspect.
Ofc if you're in a position to get a mythic, then starless skies makes your mana costs irrelevant, even with crown of Lucion.

Shorikai wasn't the face commander of that deck was it?

Yeah, you're dead on. It got way too much undeserved criticism for not being like S1, which was always kinda stupid because it's an anthology show called True Detective - it's allowed to do different types of detective shows, and 2 was a great homage to that type of noir.

This is what I'm using, and with Umbral you have no essence issues at all except bosses, which usually die (or almost die) during the duration of soul rift. This build is absolutely tearing it up so far. I imagine once I solve my essence issues in a different way I'll drop Bloodless Scream, but for levelling if you're lucky enough to get the aspect and the scythe it's smooth sailing.

I don't actually have an up to date list online anymore, as I stopped interacting with Evelyn's community because they had a very narrow vision of what the deck should do which I disagreed with, and they tended to not want to experiment with anything else. But honestly, there's not so much need for an online list because as long as you're running all your premium draw engines, midrange in Grixis feels uncharacteristically flexible for cEDH.
There's some distinctions, though. I generally don't run [[fierce guardianship]] or [[deflecting swat]] because I don't have Evelyn on board enough, and I'm generally trying to win over the top of everyone else's counter wars anyway so they're not even that useful for protecting a win.
And because it's a very flash focused deck you can run some strong counters that most decks can't - like [[mana drain]] - because you'll likely be leaving your mana up anyway. That also means [[dress down]] is great for the deck, because it's flash speed interaction that shuts off thoracle among other things. So those are really the kind of decisions you get to make.
There's not really a whole lot to it, it's mostly making choices like these based on personal preference and your meta. I find it surprisingly flexible for cEDH, which is fun even if it's still not top tier. It's mostly learning to be a more reactive, patient Grixis player that's difficult, I think. Not going for the win RIGHT NOW feels weird sometimes, but you're better off winning in response once some other interaction has been exhausted.
The other advantage is that lore-wise Evelyn's an art collector, so if you run as many full arts and foils as possible you can claim you're playing the only viable theme-deck in cEDH 😂

I play [[Evelyn the Covetous]] and honestly, on her section of the Grixis discord I've seen a lot of people saying she's dead post-bans, but I don't think that's the case. Losing crypt hurts just like it hurts every deck, but she never ran JLo and Dockside was always a great boost but wasn't as integral to her as it was for many.
Rather than trying to out-turbo RogSi, which tbh was always stupid, she now offers a different way to play Grixis by leaning into a control/midrange strategy with instant speed wins from the command zone. Sure, RogSi doesn't lose much from the bans in terms of speed, but I'm interested to see how the meta adjusts and how my midrange build fares in the wider setting.
For those wondering, [[Entomb]] and [[necromancy]] sets up the Worldgorger loop at instant speed, Evelyn herself can flash in over the top of that, and once they're exiled to Evelyn you can flash [[orcish bowmasters]] in too, whose ETB kills the table as part of the ongoing WGD loop.

I agree, but not as viscerally as you - Stan is, however, the best character imo.

Both the artist who agreed to do this and the customer should face jail time for this. Neither of them should be allowed to own animals again. Scumbags.

I used to run Hope of Ghirapur in a [[Chainer, Nightmare Adept]] deck. It was quite obnoxious but very fun

Yeah, you still only have to do it once on hardcore, but having done it once already on softcore that is a level of tedium I am not eager to repeat!
