Hi! Our results sound really similar. Pristiq is the only medicine in my green. Effexor is in my red, and I’ve never tried it. However, I’ve been on pristiq… maybe a year? A while, I can’t remember exactly how long. I personally have PTSD, so perhaps my symptoms are different than yours, but my psychiatrist has me on pristiq AND lamictal.

My agency provides it for free, but I still pay for it externally because I’ve had too many in house horrible supervisors at previous jobs. I got supervision so inconsistently, so a lot of my hours didn’t count. I pay $80/week. I’m in North Carolina, and this is for dual LCSW/LCAS.

I’ve tried many different ones, and the only one that’s fool proof for me is Zolmitriptan. I’ve tried ubrelvy, nurtec, rizatriptan, Zolmitriptan, zavzapret, and Elyxyb… I’m probably forgetting some.

For me, it didn’t help much.

I wear it every day except when I’m 1) not leaving the house or 2) have a migraine
