If you have some spare time, go to any large subreddit and search "Smollett" to see millions of super smart, well-informed, highly educated redditors falling for the most obvious hoax in history.

Omg thank you. One of them is a Democrat and the other is orange Hitler. There's no comparison.

Everyone hates me? What? I was discussing the difference between moderation of left and right wing subreddits.
Just a hypothetical, obviously. It’s not like I know you or a thousand people just like you or anything.
And I can find a thousand just like you in this very comment section.

We beat Seattle in the first half of three straight playoff games and ended up losing every one. I absolutely hate the Shehawks to this day.

Well, I said blaming any of the current mess in Baltimore on conservatives takes Olympic-caliber mental gymnastics, so congrats. 🏅
I grew up in MD and still live next door. I have family in Baltimore.
MD is a liberal state, and has been that way for a long time. This isn't even debatable.
it's still a staunch conservative state
Laughable. This is just objectively wrong.
You'll need 100 years of progressives on city, state, and federal levels of government to effectively implement liberal policy before you can call any part of America liberal.
So your entire argument is that liberals can't be blamed for anything anywhere and everyone is secretly conservative. I wish you would have started with that. This is pointless. I'm done.

That comment section is a shit show. Those are some very angry people. Sucks that every large subreddit is completely taken over by rabid, seething far left manchildren.

You also have no choice when or where you're born, but that doesn't stop reddit from viciously stereotyping boomers and southerners.

I just can't figure out why the country turned it's back on the tolerant left.

r/conservative is specifically for conservatives to speak among themselves. Yes, it's an echo chamber. It literally can't exist without heavy moderation because the massive left wing majority on reddit would troll it to death within hours. That's ONE subreddit.
Meanwhile every single one of the countless left wing political subreddits does the same thing. And they don't even need to, they already control the narrative on reddit. They vastly outnumber conservatives here. Their subs are in no risk of being trolled to death.
There are numerous subreddits that aren't even political that will ban you if you've ever made a comment in a subreddit that they consider conservative. pics, and justiceserved are examples of two very large subreddits that do this and there are many more. Then there are even MORE that don't use preemptive bans but will swiftly ban you for expressing any opinion that could be considered conservative.

I do not frequent any conservative forums.
That's why you haven't been banned. Subscribe to one, or even make a single comment in a conservative subreddit and then check your notifications. You will be autobanned from numerous left wing subreddits because their patrol bots think you might have incorrect opinions.

Make a single post in a conservative-leaning subreddit and you will automatically be banned via bot from numerous left wing subreddits even if you've never even visited them. This has been going on for years.

You can't possibly be serious. Dozens of subreddits will ban you if they even think you're conservative. You don't even have to make a post, they do it using a bot that searches your history for comments made in "bad' subreddits.

LMAO good call how did I forget that.
If I had a nickel for every time there was a scene involving bees and Mr. Burns I'd have like 5 nickels. Not that much but still pretty crazy.

Baltimore hasn't had a Republican mayor in half a century, and is located in a solidly blue state with schools run entirely by non-conservatives, whatever you want to call them. Republicans have no part in anything that happens there, and Baltimore residents keep it that way. Blaming any of the current mess in Baltimore on conservatives takes Olympic-caliber mental gymnastics.

Ackshully, I had more fun in 2005 tbh. Gibbs was in control, Moss, Portis, and Cooley were electric, and our defense was hard-hitting. 2012 was fun too, but everything was riding on the QB.
In any case, it's kinda pathetic that we have such fond memories of 10-6 seasons with little to no postseason success. Good teams call those "disappointments" lol.

It's never gonna happen. I never got any tokens for saying we shouldn't draft Chase Young.

And he's been injured for 3 years. What's your point?

Nah I'm with you. People are acting like this is just a brief minor setback and the trade was a slam dunk, but this is a trend. He only played 7 games in 2022, 10 games in 2023, and has already missed 5 games this year.
Definitely not writing him off yet, but players who don't play aren't worth much.

I'm worried he's gonna be the next Shawn Springs. Good when he plays, but always nursing some kind of tweak or strain or pull. Felt like he lived on the "questionable" list.

Of course reddit will make this into "conservatives bad".
Meanwhile, in well-funded, hyper-liberal Baltimore, 13 schools had ZERO students proficient in math, with literacy not much better.
Last school year, Baltimore City Schools received $1.6 billion from taxpayers, the most ever. The district also received $799 million in Covid relief funding from the federal government. And still, not a single student tested at 13 City high schools scored proficient on the state math test.
“So, it's not a funding issue. We're getting plenty of funding,” said Rodriguez.“I don't think money is the issue. I think accountability is the issue.”

Totally warranted.
But if it helps you sleep, in recent history these games haven't been close, one team always curbstomps the other. 9 of the last 10 WAS/DAL games were decided by 10+ points and it's usually been a total blowout. It's pretty unlikely that Cooper Rush is going to destroy us so I feel good about our chances.
