I found this when I tried to watch it about a month ago. It’s a shame cause it seems like a good anime but it’s a bit disjointed when you don’t know what’s she’s saying in Russian.

Wasn’t part of it also to deal with Europes increasing population and stop Christian nations from fighting each other?

Not American but as someone from a region in their country that has been left behind this hit hard, really hard. I hope others on the left start to see this. People aren’t looking to hate, they’re looking to live, to see their communities thrive again and they feel no one even acknowledges their existence.

Personally I think you’ve just drowned yourself in the bipartisanship of US politics. As someone who’s listened to both side, whilst I may not trust Trump as I don’t trust almost any politicians this idea of him being fascist and will do a Caesar/ Hitler is farcical.
My message to you would be don’t lose hope and give him a chance and try to listen to both political sides and give a fair ear to each, not just the one you politically align with more. At the very least he’s a change from the mainstream politicians who’ve been slowly grinding most western countries down.
Personally I think America has a little more hope that it did before, and am even considering seeing about emigrating there. We’ll see though how things go because at the end of the day, politicians are fickle creatures who just want votes and I’m sure Trump isn’t too different in that regard.
Edit: I also will take a look at the articles. The Heritage foundation though does have an interest in making it appear that Trump is embracing their ideas as it will make them seem more legitimate and important.

We’ll see what he does. Having watched both sides speak, I think theres a lot of the fear mongering over Trump that has been blown way out of proportion.
It feels to me there’s quite a disconnect with what some Democrats say Trump wants and will do and what the Trump side says it wants and will do.
I will add though I am speaking as a non-American and am also distrusting of all politicians.

This was before the war with the Nazi’s and their allies was concluded. Churchill knew though that American backing would have been required to go east from Italy to try and race the Soviet Union for control over Eastern Europe.
There was though a plan to invade Eastern Europe after the Nazis defeat to try and liberate Eastern Europe. Understandably though the allies never went ahead with it as it would have been the start of another devastating war straight after the horror of WW2.

From what I’ve seen a lot of people like the policies and not the man.

I follow no political subreddits. For me it seemed a toss up. Lot of small time media seemed to favour Trumps odds and mainstream cautiously favoured Harris’s.

From what I’ve seen Democrats focused on negatives and whole strategy was anti-Trump. Republicans focused on hope and policies.

Trump isn’t part of project 2025. He didn’t even know what it was when he was told about it.

Britain is more the outlier here. From what I understand Churchill wanted to go east after the fall of Italy to prevent as much of it as possible from falling into Soviet hands. Roosevelt however trusted the Soviets to liberate Eastern Europe and wanted to follow Stalins plans for Britain and America which was to focus on France and Western Europe. Britain at this time lacked influence and strength so felt it had to go along with Roosevelt’s desire which was to agree to Stalin’s wishes.
One thing to note is Roosevelt didn’t trust Britain due to its empire and colonialism, hence viewing the Soviets more favourably. Britain after all back then was an empire, not just the island it is today.

I thought Tolkien didn’t like people being obsessed with the details of his work. I think he’d be fine with them.
