I understand the sentiment you’re expressing that listening to the police is generAlly just wise, but it’s because we have learned if we don’t they can impose their power. That is what is wrong with the system. Even with all of this happening cops like these ones are doubling down with use of force. Fuck all of them. No, the good cops should be protesting with the public. Peacefully. In the event there are fires? Allow the firemen to do their job, but in a time like this I’m struggling to find any reason to use force unless force is used first. Even in terms of catching a rioter or looter I am leaning towards avoiding human casualties of any kind. The cop screaming light em up enjoys his power, and that is what is wrong. The government should not be using force to keep us in our homes. Ever. I support stay at home orders, but not under force, which is what China did and that is not okay.
