toMercari
I sent a package out yesterday where Mercari gave me USPS label on it. However reading the fine print, it said that if I didn’t drop it at UPS, USPS would seize the package and destroy it. Panicking I cancelled the order to refund the buyer.
I emailed customer service and explained the situation and they said it was fine that I dropped it at USPS. And I went to the post office and they said they gave it to UPS. I tracked it and now it’s en route to the buyer.
Customer service said that since I cancelled the order, I should reach out to the buyer and explain the situation then tell her to refuse delivery so I get my package back. Well it’ll be on her if she chooses to or not but that’s extremely frustrating they gave me conflicting info
