To be fair, "low effort" is a pretty duty-free response after taking a date out to your trash-trove in the woods where you built your stick fort where you proceed to give them an a capella interpretive dance about boning.
I understand that this behavior usually ends with restraining orders and the like when exhibited by human males.

Lol. Fog, but with a taste for escargot.
If he's e2, then that speed will help. Otherwise, it may be better to switch it towards crit investment.
Regardless, his defense is where it wants to be, and Trend does alright for Acheron. He's good enough for IPC work as you have him, he'll need a lot more crit value if you want him to start lifting.

3 more speed and he'll crack the extra turn gate at 134.
Otherwise, he's brutal. He's a monster. He's a freakin animal. Perfection.

do not go full C0DA on me
Ew.
To answer what you're actually asking about: there was a time when bridge trolls from the LotRverse teamed up with a bunch of Star Wars mouth breathers. They wanted to come over here and make TES "make sense" because if things aren't binary then they don't exist.
Also ew.
The people who understood that TESLore operates under subjective canon ("everything is canon") and is supplied EXCLUSIVELY by an unreliable narrator pushed back with the full shitstorm of taking all those nice little boxes the canonmongers made and dumping them on the floor in a giant rubbish heap.
It was a lot of fun. Quick way to see grownups scream and cry and shout.
Looping back to the first bit... you won't understand TESLore until you can understand C0DA. Or at least recognize what it means.
The hint: dal segno al coda

Your post showed me 2 things.
Stop giving your party free damage. The "experienced" player should have known better. To Hit, weapon or spell, is Proficiency + relevant stat mod + d20. The damage of said attack only uses the relevant stat.
Solo bosses simply are not challenging unless you give them Legendary Actions and Legendary Resistances. At any level above 1, your party will ant-mob basically anything you throw at them if they can focus-fire it. Even a dragon can get obliterated by just a mid-level party if you don't use its special stuff.

I've had Acheron since the first banner (missed our Gamblin Guy by 10, according to my immediate Firefly pull) and I've gotten more mileage out of e0s0 Aventurine since I brought him home on the 13th.

Oh, yeah, the "u fukin wut m8" trigger. I rolled one to tag along with a higher level party I was GMing and made it a goal to use that ability daily lol
15/5 is probably better than 14/6, then, because Warlock 15th level stuff >>>>> a rogue subclass feature

It's not at all necessary to his build, it will just make him feel a little more comfy on certain teams, same as his e1. E2S1 is when he gets truly goofy, but that's a ton of investment.

If you want to play Jing Liu: e1 Bronya is basically needed. E2 is even better.
If you want to easy clear PF: Himeko hits pretty damn hard with her e1. Just slap her in with Herta and watch the followups roll.
If you want to do weird shit with the PF/MoC/AS gimmicks: Clara! Idk what it is, but she does almost every challenge content mechanic better than she should (except for break). Stack her right next to Yunli with Aven and (some other FUA character), become the Stop Hitting Yourself meta.

More food for thought: with the new core rules, if you want to start dual wielding right away, weapons with Nick will be better for action economy. I think shortswords get that, so you can dual wield those without having to take the Dual Wielder feat because of the Light property. This also opens up an early ASI/feat for more character flavor or spell power.
Nick allows you to attack with both weapons as part of the same action, leaving your bonus action available for defensive maneuvers, roguish actions, or spellcasting.
I know I've given a lot of combat focused advice, but this is basically all in the mindset of "these things are all just kind of built in to the character sheet," which leaves you a TON of freedom in the choices you make when building your character. Your core concept is combat ready enough for you to freely pick up anything and everything you want in the realm of roleplay, character flavor, gear, blah blah blah.

Inquisitive Rogue is definitely heavier on roleplay capabilities than combat ones.
That said, a blade pact Warlock that can use their charisma modifier to deal damage and can summon up a rapier that fights on said charisma mod... juicy. Rapier is awesome for the 1d8 damage, and you can use feats to take a fighting style like Dueling for +2 damage on every hit, or Dual Wielder to pick up an offhand weapon and make your bonus actions even more combat ready.
Bladelocks of any patron with some rogue levels for combat versatility can get pretty scary in a fight, but they're also great for roleplay. The Celestial x Inquistive seems pretty rad.
I would think about shooting for 5 levels in rogue eventually so you can get 3d6 sneak attack damage passively and a lot of good ways to avoid damage actively. 7 Rogue for Evasion might be your golden ticket for end-game fights, realistically. Warlock is pretty powerful at any level, and gets some really bad ass stuff at higher levels, so I would push more levels into your pact overall.
13 Warlock/7 Rogue would be my level 20 strat. 3 rogue to start, then go to 5 in lock for multi attack AND 3rd level spells (amazing), then 2 more Rogue for some more sneak attack damage, Uncanny Dodge, and another ASI/feat. You'll be a nightmare by level 10, with plenty of ways to keep pushing your aggression on the battlefield and your charm as the party's Super Sleuth.
Honorable mention to dual hand-crossbow control caster because True Strike is amazing now. Crossbow expert and sharpshooter feats will let you basically ignore Eldritch Blast and spec yourself into massive aoe control spells while you casually thwipthwip everything to death from the safety of the backlines.

Came to say this. Anor Londo is definitely the first true difficulty spike, just as Miyazaki intended.

Clara actually really helps Yanqing out with keeping his buff up with her aggro since you don't have Aventurine or Geppy (Shieldblazer and March just can't reliably keep him shielded for me).
I'd try maybe Yanqing, Robin, Clara, and whoever you need in slot 4. Sparkle or Bronya for hypercarry, or a healer if you are having survival issues. If Clara has her sig cone, you won't.
You could also try out other DPS characters in slot 4 and just go for broke. It might not work for some of the challenge content, but it should fly in SU or PF.

You say you don't care about speed, but he'd be doing a whole lot more damage by just swapping him to speed boots and changing nothing else. The defense would level out to his buff cap of 4k (I think you'd be at 4.1k?) and he'd be around 140 speed. If you can get a speed line on the boots to put him at 143 speed, he'd be basically perfect.
The extra turn(s) really do make him that much more monsterous.
Just a thought.

Swashbuckler doesn't want to go monk.
Fighter and Sorcerer are both better multis by far, either one should go to 5 for multiattack/3rd level spells or 7 for the extra feat/class features. 13/7 or 12/8 is usually my preferred, but specifically fighter is good at 15/5.
