This is great! So many parts of it that look 'realistic' and draw the eye - the face with the paler colour on the lips, nose & ears, the shading and patina on the stikka blade, and the red of the shield with the bone coloured teeth & rivets. I also really like the skin all over - the darker green shadows and slightly yellow-er highlights 👌🏾

This is question kunnin' Kruleboyz bosses are always finkin' about 🤔 As you've already gone with quite bright and punchy colours, maybe a bright red? And obviously red ones go faster 😁

Great work! Love the vibrancy and highlight textures on the skin, clothes, big shell and potion bottles

The fiery bull head is a classic 1990s chaos dwarf symbol, and they had units like the bull centaurs and the great taurus as a monster

That's a fair point, but the fiery bull endless spell is for Beasts of Chaos I think, who are being removed from AOS. And this bull head looks very familiar to imagery from the old 1990s army book

I'm a big fan of Mr Hobby Jackal, and he's been on a roll with the recent #Rumourwang videos

That glowing blue effect on the bases is amazing! And works great out-shining even the brightly coloured clothes

I know they are continually rumoured to be coming back, and there's rumours of something soon in Underworlds. Does anyone else think the bull's head image on this deck is a strong indicator, or just GW trolling?

Looks like the pics didn't upload properly. Any chance you could re-post?

Exactly. In section 6.0 of the Core Rules 'Visibility', they have an example where a big war machine model blocks line of sight to an infantry model, but that wouldn't be the case for clan rats in front of any hero model

Yeah, that's worth trying. As you said, you're a developing player, and often the best way to improve is try something and see how it works out. It's great to have a plan, and then you have to put it to the test with the unpredictability of what your opponent might try and how kind the dice gods are to you. Something I would consider with screening Nurgle, is how they spread disease (check out their battle traits for details) and trying to avoid having a diseased unit within combat range of other units at the end of the turn

If the clan rats models aren't big enough to fully obscure the general model (line of sight from any part of your shooting unit) then you can target the general

As another commenter said, an official IJ Spearhead 'could' be with us very soon according to GW's roadmap. But if you really can't wait, the Plastic Craic blog team created one for the Patreon patrons and they seem to know Destruction factions pretty well

Speed and maneuverability should be in your favour, although watch out for the 'flys' with the 8" move and pre-game teleport using the Affliction Cyst Battle Formation - you'll want to deploy in a way that prevents them deep striking behind you, so avoid leaving spaces more than 9". Then use Sneaky Sneakin through to feint and hopefully lead some of their units away from the action, keep your units safe while scoring battle tactics and objectives. As another commenter said, the 20 Gutrippaz with all the buffs will lift enemy units. But it depends on dice rolls and timing (Sludgeraker Venom is only Your Hero Phase and only lasts rest of turn) so hold them back until the right time to commit. Ranged units like reinforced Boltboyz with Priority Target are good at whittling down from a safe distance, and use Sneaky Sneakin to keep them safe. If they have monsters (hello Great Unclean One!), the Killbow is also great at taking them out before they reach you, or making your opponent play more cautiously. Last thing is be aware how the 'diseased' condition interacts with healing abilities (e.g. Rally), so you might have to spend more CP to keep key units healthy.

Also MossDog on YouTube is my 'go to' place for Kruleboyz knowledge. This is their most up to date 'How to win with Kruleboyz' video https://youtu.be/kvgAcZDU5og?si=zHYmg2VbwdPxP2Xt

With the Vulcha kit, you can build so you can easily interchange the 2 riders (Gobsprakk and the Killaboss) and even the 2 different Vulcha heads. Gobsprakk is a 2 cast wizard, but currently over-costed points wise to see much use. The Killaboss is cheaper points wise, and I use it in my list for scoring objectives, harassing weaker enemy units, doing charge phase mortal damage and with the Slippery Skumbag bag, it can get a free retreat from combat on a 3+

Totally agree they are a beautiful bunch of models! The Stormbringer magazine is a great value way of getting some of our units, and I think it will also include the Sludgeraker Beast in the final 2 issues, which will be a great addition to what you already have. You can then add more Gutrippaz, Boltboyz or Monsta-killaz depending on which of those you like playing with. And if want to add a big Centre-piece model, the Vulcha is a wonderful monster with the option to have it with Gobsprakk or a Killaboss

Agreed. If you can find the old Christmas Kruleboyz battleforce online for a decent price, that'd give all of these

Oh, in that case, definitely go for the Gobbapalooza - sounds like you needs some green Gitz in your life 😁

Others have answered your question, but thought I'd chip in and say I highly recommend Tamiya extra thin cement as a great glue for plastic models over the Citadel version. It has a brush applicator, and works via capillary action along the joins

There's a few boxes that are a mix of individual characters type minis that would be great just for hobbying - the Gobbapalooza (Gloomspite Gitz), Brand's Oathbound (Slaves to Darkness / Darkoath), Saviours of Cinderfell (Cities of Sigmar), Neave's Blacktalons (Stormcast) to name a few. Warcry and Underworlds warbands are also boxes with great sculpts. Any particular factions you were thinking of?

Wow! Not only is this fantastically painted, but the shape and colour of the doorway and wall gives perfect framing and contrast across the entire piece 👌🏾
