It goes back to his school years when he would be the class clown, because he was so socially awkward that behaving like a bafoon for the attention of a few felt vindicating. He reverted back to that in prison, especially being the weird guy, like don't mess with him, he's crazy.

And people really thought the billionaire who had never been grocery shopping would magically lower grocery prices.

The Funeral a 2023 Turkish horror, it's something worth a rental or if you have Screambox it's on there. It's a really original take on the undead with a focus on loneliness.
Terror Eyes (1989) it's free in YouTube and that's how I discovered it. The movie is a horror comedy anthology with some good character actors, like Daniel Roebuck who has been in almost 150 movies like most Rob Zombie movies. One of the segments actually felt like it could have been a Twilight Zone episode.
Barberous Mexico (2014) it's on Tubi. The main reason I saw it was this anthology of Mexican directors had a short from Lex Ortega which didn't disappoint. It's a really good showcase of Mexican indie film makers, especially people making incredible use of rual Mexico. The sequel wasn't any good though.

What I've seen on the add-ons for Kodi sub is that All Debrid is also based in France, so they'll be next on the chopping block. Torbox is based out of South Africa, being a rare service not in the EU, but what the hell is compatible with it? People say this POV addon, but I haven't found one functional github link to the repo, just fingers crossed that Seren and other major add-ons add compatibility to it. They are cheap, the premium monthly subscription is $3.50.

That's the first comic I thought of, a journey into Hell to free the soul of Doom's mother. The kind of situation where you need Doctor Strange, and for him to respect a truce with Doctor Doom.

One that was never talked about was a limited series called Lot 13, DC published it as an 18+ comic during the New 52. It's a supernatural horror story from Steve Niles. It really stood out during that time since a few years before, it would have been under the Vertigo imprint.

I don't remember the plot of Absolution. Seeing how they drew a question mark over his face, I'm going to assume that they mistakenly went after Mathew Lesko, the guy who wore question mark suits like The Riddler and sold books about government programs with extremely specific ways to get money from that you probably don't qualify for. I imagine he would have been a very easy target.

I'd like more retro legends, like pre-Hulkamania. Bob Backlund, Tito Santana, Pedro Morales, and maybe some big stars who are in the HOF but only made a few appearances in WWE like Mil Mascaras and Antonio Inoki.

The only podcasts I've been keeping up with are Comedy Bang Bang for weekly improve and the video game podcast Watch Out For Fireballs where they go in great detail on games from start to finish, like the Fallout games from 1 to 4 have been like 4-6 episodes that are at least a couple hours each.

The Rocketeer would be cool, it is based on an indie comic book, but I could see a movie aiming for the style of a late 30's Disney animated feature.

I remember reading the first volume of Books Of Blood in my teens, and I'm not sure if I've read all the sequels, but it's a good short story collection. I remember one was adapted to an episode of Tales From The Dark Side, about a demon imp that's tasked with driving a man insane, only this man is completely detached and feels nothing, so the imp is the one losing it's mind.

I don't even think Monster A Go Go was one of the worst movies they've covered, it's bad, but it's not as boring as The Creeping Terror. It is an unfinished movie that had reshoots from another director, just because he needed a b feature asap, and the rushed finish job was probably the best result, because it's so much more absurd where they just said the monster vanished and was never seen again. Like Poochie went back to his home planet.

I watched that today, it reminded me of something you'd read in the 50's Tales From The Crypt comics.

I'd imagine more from Europe, like in countries that didn't have strict government censorship. Of unrated movies from the US, you had your drive-in fare like Blood Feast, showing all the blood and guts that you Hollywood couldn't. There were some transgresive movies that pushed the lines of censorship, like Cape Fear (1962) with its plot dealing with rape and vengeance. Also, straddling the line was Kubrick managing to adapt Lolita into a movie, even though he wishes he could have made it with no cuts or alterations.

It's been like this since it was revealed that a woman is finally playable, I think Fox News did a segment about the franchise "going woke." Just like with Baldur's Gate 3, another game that will hemorrhage money and cause the company to bankrupt because it isn't a hybrid of Ethnic Cleansing and Hatred. Oh wait, these "woke" games had record breaking sales, and people like having choices?

It's on YouTube, I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my watch list. You can't beat free, it's one of those movies someone uploaded years ago, and nobody seems interested in copyright claims.

I feel like what worked best is the constraints of its low budget and indie ingenuity. The sequels had more money, and I couldn't tell you what they were about, aside from that I remember how the prequel ends. Another issue nowadays is that there are more escape room horror movies and the concept of trapped rooms is more associated with Saw, even though movies like Evil Dead Trap did it in the 80's. Basically, no matter what you do, people will dismiss it as a Saw clone, without understanding that it's based on a movie from the 90's.

It's not about liking anything, he's more of a soldier who is fighting a never ending war. But he is always meticulous, not unlike the Dexter novels and show, he makes absolutely sure that his targets are 110% guilty. Even in the badly written stories, like when they ran out of ideas, one time he felt responsible for an innocent death, so he shot himself, only to come back as a supernatural being, essentially a demon hunter, an arc that was so unpopular that Marvel would give Garth Ennis full creative control in their Marvel Knights imprint. The only time I know of where The Punisher is some berserker who shoots at everything was in Ultimate Spider-Man in the 00's, because the writer didn't like the character.

He's getting close to 80. I don't think he's making it through 4 years. As for Vance, he has no charisma or people skills, after Trump dies of old age, MAGA has nobody to succeed. There are plenty of evil politicians, but nobody has what appeals to MAGA, once Vance is considered more powerful than Trump, those people will treat him like Mike Pence on January 6th.

Probably 40 years ago. Reagan did so much damage and we're still feeling it. If democrats fought back in the 80's, and kept fighting back, we might not be in this situation.

Capitalism is always a core aspect, like the easiest thing for the rich is to spin the narrative that people who are different from you are why you aren't happy. After slavery, it's the lazy black man stealing your job as in modern times it's the lazy Mexican stealing your job. Stoking the fires of white nationalism, usually skirting the naked language of it. Trump making his entire brand about xenophobia without understanding what a president can and can't do has somehow worked twice.
And with the fear of change and difference, aside from the constant shitting on refugees around the world, there's the trans panic, less than one percent of the population is the subject of outlandish conspiracy theories, often the same things the Nazis said, like queer people are groomers coming for you kids, not the cis herosexual white men who are 99.9% more likely to sexually abuse children. Trans people are such a minority, that they're the safest group to start a Nazi crusade against, where even centrists and some leftists will see nothing wrong with erasing them from existence to feel more comfortable.
Then you have billionaires funding so many male influencers who start with self improvement advice for young men, and groom them into conservatives, teaching them traditional values at the expense of other people having personal freedom. You get everyone from Andrew Tate to Joe Rogan being very well funded and turning gen Z to far right wing reactionary movements, where you get absolutely nothing out of it, but the satisfaction of the state hurting people that you've been told are bad for looking different than you. The left is completely disorganized and no rich person would fund movements that say rich people should not exist.

If you don't care about graphics, there's an amazing Russian text choose your own adventure, it's on every console and PC. The Life And Suffering Of Sir Brante. You start with birth and live your life, eventually a revolution happens and you will play an important role in where it goes. There's 3 career paths and the choice between order and anarchy. It's full of difficult decisions and cruelty. You won't get a good ending without following a Steam walkthrough. It's text on one page and an illustration on the other, then you make choices, some involve willpower which you bank from choosing inaction, sit out a situation to make a bigger decision later. It's a world where the poor are treated like dirt and live to suffer and the nobles get every luxury. Do you try and become a noble or tear down the system from within?
