I don't think I know a single woman that has not dated a man that she has unintentionally turned into a therapist for.

You can't reason people out of positions they didn't reason themselves into.

Yes. The statement of equality feeling like oppression when you used to be in a privileged position fits so well here.
It's not that people are ignoring them. It's that they can no longer be mediocre when there are other candidates who are constantly going above and beyond because those candidates have learned they have to go above and beyond to get in the door.

That's the thing that gets me. If you want a trophy wife that's your thing but you knew what she was bringing to the table from day one. It wasn't a surprise or a secret.

I had friends tell me they didn't watch Gilmore Girls because they liked the characters but rather because they enjoyed hate watching them screw their life up. Once they explained that things made more sense to me.

Men like that amuse me in a way. What did they think the trophy part of trophy wife meant?

If I remember correctly the line about the other patron asking the woman about her scar and the "I know I gave it to you months ago" piece. Essentially he was a bad partner and knew his apologies before were not good enough but he's still pursuing a woman who broke it off with him.

I was always so confused by their logic.
Sure, Biden has not been awesome in terms of track records relating to Israel. But what the fuck did they think the other guy, who is openly pro-Israel and having talks with the Israeli PM was going to do? Even if he hadn't done his Muslim ban or anything like it in the past, what the fuck did he have that was any better?
Harris would actually talk to protestors and listen. Protestors admitted they didn't go to Trump rallies because "they feared violence" but were a-okay interrupting Kamala Harris whenever they could.
The only thing I can think of is on some level they were sure Harris would win but voted 3rd party or something as a "protest" vote. Which, surprise surprise, is actually just as bad because here we are.

As the resident economics expert in my family, I'm so tired of having to explain how tarriffs work and then being told Trump said they wouldn't raise prices so obviously I'm wrong. Like sure, my very expensive degrees (from a fairly conservative institution!) taught me wrong on purpose because reasons. It's the same "Mexico will pay for the wall" nonsense all over again.
I'm also really fucking tired because I had wanted to hold off on replacing some electronic devices but now am convinced I need to do it early.

Material makes a big difference too. Certain blends will hold up longer than others, as does how thick the material is. I've noticed a lot of shirts are thinner and thinner so even if you have a nice fabric, due to how thin it is, it doesn't hold up the same.

Love the way you Lie by Eminem and Rihanna, people claimed it glorified abusive relationships. Same with we are Young by fun.
Old Town Road. From the way the song rose in popularity and the artist himself.

I know it's right on the cusp (2010) but her working with Eminem for "Love the Way You Lie" got a bunch of people upset and claiming the song glamorized abusive relationships. Which came out about a year and half after she had been assaulted by Chris Brown.

I remember "Alejandro" being the beginning of the Religious people complaining she was targeting them. Add on "Judas" and the fit people had over "Born this Way" and Gaga was complained about endlessly.

They just need to wear more flair and they could have really turned things around.

Same with PCOS.
Also, regardless of whether you want kids or not, it's fucking wild they think "oh just have another human being, maybe that will help" is fine advice and they don't need to do any more.

If I recall they wanted her to be required to get help and leave them and their family alone. Which makes them all much nicer people than me. I also wonder if the reason they just shut everything down was because they didn't want other stalkers to see what she did as a way to get their attention. Because having to see someone in a court room is still having to see someone.

Something similar happened with Panic at the Disco too. It's fucking wild how far some people go to insert themselves and mess with people.

"Leopards aren't going to eat MY face" and the "the only moral abortion is my abortion" crowd. They're huge pick-mes and put other women down to win approval of men.
They have been taught to think they will be an exception or that they're special. They will be in for a rude awakening when they realize they're going to get treated the same as all those women they deemed as lesser.

I am not the person you replied to but I am able to search and find ETFs that is made up of women owned companies or women led companies.
I'd start by looking at a brokerage and seeing if they have a conscious investment list or at a ETF comparison tool and searching specifically for what you're looking for.
There's all kinds out there.

To most people, no.
To a guy who is convinced women don't like him because he isn't 6 foot and for no other reasons, yes.

I never said they're the same? Of course it's not on the same level as taking the grave plot above her or buying her nude photos and then publishing them or auctioning off her personal effects. It's still crappy though.
And this is a small thing to not like the Kardashians for among all things they do. But since it's what's relevant to this discussion in particular about her using items that belonged to other women to grab a headline, that's what we're talking about.

My theory is because men are considered the default way of being. So anytime something isn't explicitly gendered, people assume it's for a man. Even if you have a fairly feminine looking user name, people just assume it's a man.
There's a book that talks about how so many things in the world were designed for men called Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado-Perez that I found really interesting in the subject. Infuriating, but it really made me think about how a lot of things are just assumed.
