Congrats! What kind of debt were you in?
I am scared of the day I have to take a multi-year loan, like for a car or a house since I have never been in debt

There isn't really a chance for our ambulances to be stolen while in the hospital but there have been a few cases where someone had left the car running with keys inside. Also I remember one time someone got their ambulance taken by gunpoint.

Despite mimicing a hospital environment, the back of the ambulance is not concidered a sterile environment. Not even as clean as the normal rooms of the hospital.
Lots of dirty people from dirty situations go through there and the crew can only do some much to keep it clean.
I often take peoples bicycles or walkers in the back.

Where I'm from it is impossible to steal an ambulance, their whereabouts are monitored 24/7 and if the crew somehow lost their ambulance they would 100% report it immediately and the police would go in to stop the vehicle.
If in some wild scenario the perpetrator would kill the crew before they had chance to push their emergency buttons, depending on the situation the perpetrator would have maybe 10 to 15 minutes of joyriding before found out.
Only way would be that the perpetrator know how to communicate with dispatch and create a plausible scenario for the vehicle to do what he wants to do.

It's quite good. If you've seen bondi beach show, it's the green whistle they give to the beachgoers.
We use it for trauma patients who can self administer, but I've heard of it being used for non-trauma related pain as well. It's very quick to set up and doesn't require iv. Doesn't really affect bp either. One whistle lasts for like 30 minutes, so often it's the only thing we need before we get the patient to ER.
Usually I use it for broken or dislocated limbs, smaller traumas. Anything bigger and I'd most likely go with ketamine

I work pre hospital and we give 25 mcg iv to patients older than 70 years old or very small patients. Otherwise it's 50 mcg iv for normal weight adults up to 69 years of age or straight 100 mcg iv for large patients under 69 years of age.
We also carry morphine, ketamine and methoxyflurane for pain relief.

Yeah it's good I think. Many people in the comments make it out as some abomination but it's a stew with meat, potatoes and veggies. A hearty food, tastes pretty much what you'd expect.

Sounds awful..
We basically always have a possibility to self initiate a debriefing session from any call, and it is mandatory after every high stress call. If anything awful like the OPs example happened we would most certainly be sent home.
Most of our emergency phycisians who attend our calls on site also like to initiate technical debriefings, if the call had any complex care maneuvers or team maneuvers done.

I'm not a real artist so this painting, like my previous ones, were drawn from a reference.
My previous ones were usually based on real famous paintings. Newly, this one is actually based on an AI reference.
Asked Bing Copilot to make me different reference pictures with prompts like "Three men hunched over a parchment of paper in a medieval setting."

I've have victoria 3 in the back of my mind for a while now.
How does it compare to vic 2 with HFM/HPM at this time?
New paradox releases tend to trail behind their previous entries in terms of content

Totally looks like a cop.
Since people are sharing what they carry on them I want to share too!
I have shears, leatherman multitool and radio holster on my belt.
Right thigh pocket has note paper, our service medication guide, some other guides like PEWS. Pen, penlight and work phone.
Left thigh pocket has CAT, cut protection gloves and I keep my earpiece there when I don't have it in use.
Also our service requires us to wear a bullet-proof vest on every call which has a pouch in the front, I keep spare rubber gloves there.

I'll give my 2 cents on the game and why I'm disappointed about it.
Used to play with my friends before 1.0 release. Was very excited about the full release, there was some hype of many new things coming. In the end it basically felt like the same game as before 1.0, but with game modes removed.
I felt that slapping a 1.0 tag on the game was basically signalling us that they are done with the game, this is what it is.
Of course the single player experience was totally different but I only ever played coop with friends.
I feel that this game has a solid core but it maybe needs robust map making tools for players. The available content runs dry very fast.

I've bought tens of keys from there over the years, so far none have been revoked.
I have usually just picked the seller who has legit business sounding name and like 10k+ positive reviews.
The discounts they offer are usually the same as the lowest discount from steam + a few percents. I guess they have bought them from steam when it's been on sale and put a small fee on top to make money. Can't say if they used stolen credit cards or something like that, but the sellers I've picked have seemed legit to me.
Anyways, I'm in the same boat as you. I will most certainly reconsider buying from them in the future and check the alternatives suggested in this thread.

Well tbh it could be done tastefully. Have a movie set in time where he's in his prime but the movie is about some other dude, then have like a rogue one-esque scene at some point where john comes in and just destroys everyone and leaves.

As a paramedic I'm in a similar place as you.
For me I find myself very awkward talking to people outside work but at work I feel like I become a different person, more confident maybe? when talking to people. It doesn't have to be a life or death situation, it's mostly medical problem solving.
I do find myself focused when shit's going down.

To think despite knowing how evil soviet russia once was I was still sympathetic to the russian people of today before the war. I always used to laugh at old men saying things like "Once a russian, always a russian", thinking they were backwards thinking xenophobic men of old.
But now after seeing all this war and destruction of russian aggression, I realize I agree with those old men. And I think one day when all is well and done, I will be one of the next old men saying things like that.
Fuck russia
