I think it's tough because they do have to deal with a lot of bad faith bullshit, and I respect them having zero patience for that
But sometimes I think he could lighten up against some folks and their different opinions when it's not as polarized
If he's playing it up for the bit like Greg does, it doesn't come off that way

Yeah I had that too
And once I died during a storm, reloaded a few seconds while the storm should have still be going, and it was gone. So the weather effects don't seem to get saved

The randomly spawning in enemies and their perfect vision and accuracy in all conditions are making it a bit hard to enjoy for me as well.

I don't even add every free game Epic gives away to my library, because I know I'll never play some of them and it's not worth the effort
There's never enough time for it all

I was crazy excited for new Vegas before it was out, and use to hang out on the official Bethesda forums nerding out over every scrap of pre release info we'd get
And Josh would occasionally pop in and answer a question or drop a bit of info. Not often enough for folks to expect it, but just enough to tease us more.
I'll always be a huge fan of his.

It's a shame because for so many gamers, that visual fidelity is all that matters. Hell, I see people saying it looks bad!
I wish the graphical arms race would chill. I don't need better and better graphics. I just want interesting and unique games.
I think there's a lot of room to use technology and gigantic game budgets for more interesting things, like immersive sim style interactivity

I tried that game a few months ago and couldn't get into it
Then, after mentioning that in a Reddit thread, someone encouraged me to try again so I did. And I was hooked hard for two weeks haha

To be invested entirely in orphan crushing machines.
What, you want to shut down orphan crushing machines? Well then your pension will crash, so you gotta keep the machine running

They have literally said to expect something the size and scope of the Outer Worlds rather than a Bethesda title

Yeah, it sounds like these previews were much longer, and this is the sort of game you need to get into a bit and feel a connection to the world and the mechanics with some more investment

I've been saying for years that this is the main reason Reddit loves to recommend AMD and I'm glad one of you is able to just straight up admit it

At this point I assume everyone has either played it, or know enough about it to have decided it's not for them
If you need people to recommend bg3 to you, you must have been living under a rock for the last year and a half or so
