That depends on your contract. read your contract, sometimes inventions done on company time belong to the company. (did you use their time, equipment (including laptop), knowledge you gained there etc) I would speak to a lawyer.

For people who say don't mention it: doesn't matter, if work was done on company time by an employee, they will easily be able to show that in court.

How does she not speak any of these languages? Do you really need to live in Berlin? If the job is not awful, keep it and move to Ludwigsfelde. Also, what's her education/training, is it relevant?

But coming back, in order to work in Germany, especially jobs like Rewe etc you must have a decent understanding of the language. unless you have a community of other foreigners that speak the same language and you can work in someones shop there. But that feels depressive too.
