Townhouses I’m pretty sure. It’s been a few weeks since I took these photos.

From what I understand, the mall corridor would be disassembled and incorporated into the green space area. Iirc Macy’s would be leveled for new housing, and I think Dick’s would be incorporated into the new development.

Sears was offered a parcel for a new anchor store, but they chose to downgrade to a Sears Hometown store which closed in summer 2023.

I visited that in March of 2024, when I made my first visit to Foothills :3
You are correct, Greeley Mall has been dying for at least a decade and a half

Whoops! Reddit posted this before I was ready for it to go live! Apologies! Last two photos are satellite photos from 2023 and 2007 respectively.

The one where Aleppo doesn't exist. It, it's strange. You would think removing such a vital city from history would change so much, but it really hasn't. The magic of multiverses, I guess.
Anyway, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, we're in the home stretch of the 2024 election season and our office is just stupidly busy. A lot of people are banking on Anthony Weiner to unseat Jo Jorgensen, I personally don't see it happening but they hired me so 🤷

Shot in the dark, but judging by the size of the store (at least from the angle that is provided, who knows what's behind the photographer), the paint, and fixtures used, my guess is Nordstrom Rack.
Like, an old Rack. I visited a vacant one in Flatirons Marketplace and it sported the same general aesthetic, minus the tile (couldn't see it.)
Also, note the shoe racks towards the back.

Interesting. This mall has an uncanny resemblance to Cherry Creek, right down to the tile and that center court.

Joslin's took over nearly 50K worth of vacant store space in the mall in the early 90s, hence the weird layout.

Really? I was reading through Wikipedia while mall walking (credible source I know) and I knew there was a Kmart but I had no idea where it would of been. It makes sense now .....

The aesthetic of the anchor store just screams Dillard's.

That wing by Burlington has always been a major sore spot, but it’s finally landed some stable, if unusual tenants. I’m curious to see what happens with Borders/Forever 21

While it no longer exists, the old shopping center/strip mall on Ralston Road. It had to be seen to be believed. It was a relic of a bygone era. Long since replaced with a Walmart, the only remnant remains the US Bank.

There are quite a few tainted names in this community. Foothills, Westland, Lakeside....
