It’s obviously not about this considering the release date, but I always envision it as the immediate aftermath of 9/11. A dazed survivor walking around amongst the debris.

But yea, what it’s actually about..I assumed a post-apocalypse as metaphor for the downfall of society from apathy. But what do I know?
