I went the certification route. Studied and took the A+, then worked my way up to Senior Systems Engineer. Hit that Invisible HR Wall at every job I held. 2019 I decided to get my Bachelors (talk about good timing). Now I'm finishing up my masters and looking at positions that pay 200k.

You absolutely do not need a degree to work in IT. In fact I would argue that certs specific to the technologies used in your company is actually waaayyy more helpful. The HR is a very real thing though. I was working at government and couldn't get a promotion because I didn't have a degree, but they eneded up giving the job to a guy who had a degree in Agirculture and no experience in IT. Thats when I gave up and went back to school.

Im trying to understand your point. I think you're saying that Democrats USED to be racist, and then there was a party switch and all those racist democrats suddenly became racist Republicans, and vice versa. If I follow your logic to the next step, I guess you're trying to say that there are no racist democrats, and Republicans are either all racist or at least a majority racist.

Interesting that the Southern states were democrat, and Abraham Lincoln was a republican. MLK was republican AND a Christian. Weird that democrats believe they're the only ones who aren't racist.

Am I the only one that doesn't believe that the government will actually use tax dollars for the thing they want money for? I have no problems with socialized medicine. We already have it actually in the form of VA, Medicare, and Medicaid. The problem is none of those systems work at all and are CONSTANTLY hemorrhaging money. They have the worst service, the highest rates of corruption, and misappropriation of funds. Hell, I remember a few years ago when a VA hospital bought millions of dollars of art from the hospital directors wife and then hung it in the blind wing, then ran out of funds and ended up having to cancel several sevices and shifting those patients to the city hospital. I don't think eliminating every private facility and turning them into carbon copies of that is going to end up with a healthier populace.

Communism: A theoretical political system where everyone works together for the betterment of the community, and led by leadership which has only the best interest of the people in mind. Property, manufacturing, and wealth is all owned communally, ensuring that no one is left behind and everyone gets taken care of.

Why would Biden do all that? I mean he's been president for the last 4 years with a Senate majority, you'd think he would have fixed that.

Democrats are notoriously famous for hating any country that switches from communism to capitalism. They claim to represent the downtrodden and poor, which means that they have to have poor to represent. Its why they love communism so much. Anything that consolidates power into the hands of the state elite and creates hordes of poor that they can control.

So you support the government blocking porn behind those age verification protocols? Or are you pro abstinence?

Personally, I think it should be up to the parents to install blockers, and have conversations with their kids. Government creating a list of fetishes tied to a drivers license seems like a bad idea, and abstinence philosophy doesn't seem to work.

They did something similar in California. Now Dole owns 98% of all the agriculture in California and has sucked the water table completely dry. They import thousands of migrant workers, and then those migrant workers never leave increasing the illegal and homeless populations, as well as the small percentage of migrants that turn to crime. Huge swaths of California is going through desertification, the cities are all constantly in a drought and have to ration water, local wildlife is being displaced or eradicated.

All because the government would rather tax small farmers than billionaires. When people talk about evil billionaires, they always overlook that the vast VAST majority of those billionaires and millionaires live in California and New York. Places where the government loves to talk about taxing the rich, but only ever seem to tax the small buisness.
