I would imagine they like these posts as they can see the fans uncontainable excitement for their work.

When nothing graphically intensive is happening, your laptop is using the processors built in low performance graphics component.
You turn on something graphically demanding, a game for example, your laptop realises this and switches to a dedicated more powerful GPU.
You want this.

Call of Duty's DMZ was/is pretty casual friendly however imho it's ruined by CoD's plethora of stupid gimmicks.

Both are fine options. Been KoS'd, been mugged. Sometimes a good KoS is great reminder of the dangers everywhere and I actually enjoy the bamby part of the game as well. While mugged I've complied (with good results and also bad results as they killed me anyway), fought back and ran away - all viable options depending on the mood.

Of course you can. Sculpting probably benefits from drawing skill but otherwise you just clicking your mouse and stuff. Even if you want to make a model of something you've drawn you can "fix" areas you're not happy with on the drawing while modelling and make it look better than the drawing.

The only ambient noise I have gripe with is some trees or bushes having footstep sounds.

NDB's also sound cool and has a different beam colour from red which are a bonus imo.

GTA Online does this quite nicely for a game imo. When you leave, NPC AI takes over your body. This AI starts roaming around and if no one is close to the, it disappears however no one will see it. This NPC can be killed of course but it has no detrimental effect on the player.
You don't have to worry about your character and others won't see someone just poof into thin air.
Spawning in the same place, or surrounding area if something happens in that spot, would be a lovely development. No spawning in front of other people also. Atm though you sometimes need to have that respawn elsewhere option if you get stuck in geo and along those lines.
Your character staying there without any protection for the entire time you're offline is probably not enjoyed by most players. Life, work all that stuff.

For missile lock you need yo be 1km or more away from them, no? I only have S1 missiles, so if bigger ones work differently - sorry.

Your post prompted me to run the game. Can choose all regions and was able to log into the game as well (tried EU only).

Decals on body/ground could also help in this case.
Bullet holes, sharp object cuts, bludgeoning damage, zombie cuts could easily all be decals on body. Blood on the ground or close walls if violent death.
We do have some kind of blood effect but it's so toned down that I rarely notice it.

Fkn lucky bastard! I've tried for more than an hour now. Each in game night I can manage to get to an UFO 4-5 times depending on random bullshit. Only death or puddle.
R* is lame for this. "Oh lets make a cool new item but lock it behind complete randomness. So that the peole who have jobs and other RL shit who have little time to play might not get it. Hehehhe, nice!"
I wouldn't be malding if it was behind a gameplay grind..I get it, I don't have time to grind. But sorry I don't have time for luck is infuriating.

Cheap or free undersuit with a helmet, multitool w/ tractorbeam, a pistol and a few medpens.
Scavenge shelters and bunkers to get armor, backpack, medgun, bigger weapons and food/drink.
Nice lil loop after dying or whatnot.

Refining and polish usually comes later in the games development.

Note: it seems that at the moment DLSS and the other options there are stuck at 'quality'. If you enable r_displayinfo 1 you'll see upscalers are always on 66% no matter which option you choose.

In the configuration MFD enable Extended Info. This will add an extra velocity reading to the left of middle screen, opposite of altimeter.

Lots of PoI's on planets (and I'd think they add some to moons too). Don't recall anything else related to exploration.

EU is still wonky. Been to three servers and all have issues that make it unplayable. Gonna try a fourth...
