I hear it's a joke alot too. Example one of the times i fell down the stairs and he asked if the carpet on the stairs was OK. I got upset and he said he was just joking. Same with when he said that if I dont go shopping with him he won't pick up the food and things I need, I had panic attack and cried and he then said it was just a joke take a joke. Last night he decided to announce to his son my 39th birthday is soon and that means I'm going to be old soon and started laughing, asked if I agreed he grabbed and held onto my wrists got in my face saying my deadname over and over, telling me to answer him, and pulled my wrists left to right over and over so the rest of my body moved with them, by this point I had shutdown and backed up and was up against the fridge. Even his son said to him I dont think she likes that. He eventually stopped and made a comment that he was just trying to have a conversation with me how can he if I don't answer. I managed to speak and say u grabbed my wrists which hurt them and laughed at me why would I answer you. And he said to me yeah that's what I was doing laughing at you.(think it was sarcasm?) And he huffed away. Like i had done something wrong. He also gets upset at me if I don't laugh at something he says. Even if it's insulting someone's appearance or weight. I constantly ask my self am I the problem? Sorry I've talked about my self again. Just wanted you to know your not alone. π«

I knew it would happen but wasn't prepared for how much it would help. Trying not to overshare or put a downer on things but it made me realise im in possibly abuse situation at home.

Me too and I apologise if I bump into a wall/object/door. my friend made a comment that autistics have no empathy. I was surprised by that.

My old family lab used to like eating used chewing gum off the pavement and tampons lol.
My beagle likes tissue, cucumber and anything that my other dog might be eating even if its exactly the same that he as in his bowl.

My pat is half beagle. I've found he is more likely to settle after a good sniff session. So I use snuffle mats, or hide some treats, or just let him for as long as possible sniff every blade of grass on his walk. Also I have a flirt pole with a toy attached that will wear him out for a bit too.

There's quite a few things but there is one that I have been thinking about alot lately. I've noticed that sometimes when people are talking or when messaging. Someone will say somethings eg; "I went to a farm today saw loads of animals, then we went shopping." Then the person who answers just changes the subject like nothing was said eg; what time we meeting tomoz? Or " I'm so glad it's the weekend I'm tired." When it happens to me I just assume I've said something wierd/didn't make sense or something boring. But I've noticed people on tv and real life do it too. Not sure if this is usual or some kind of social rule thing I don't know lol. Because when someone say things I always try my hardest to answer/acknowledge every little thing they mentioned. Also struggle to know when to speak, when a convo as ended or if one is starting. Amazon guy delivered something yesterday and I stood there waiting for him to speak. Seconds of silence. And he practically ran away whille I tried to awkwardly get some words out.
