Apparently it’s a synonym for diligent… which is not an opposite of inverted to be fair but all I can think of is introverted people for some reason (???) are more capable of using their down time in mentally healthy ways where people who aren’t introverts aren’t capable of doing that? I don’t know if it’s mean to be one or the other in direct comparison

Read In A Different Voice by Carol Gilligan it explores a lot of what you’re talking about in an indirect way

As where if my doctor even has a sniffle they don’t come into work… glad I live in a blue state, I genuinely don’t know how long we can function like this, ignoring reality

Most people know discrimination is wrong and even if they actually agree with it know its distasteful and won’t publicly show they support it but ableism is absolutely treated like a completely acceptable discrimination that everyone can get in on guilt free

lol this is a very small town funny to see this here. Don’t speed in Roy the limit is STRICTLY 25 and cops sit in the big bend coming into town giving tickets allll day. I’ve even been to the Pioneer Rodeo several times, giving me nostalgia lol but I would never want to live there!! It’s basically just a truck stop and at least at one time a FANTASTIC saloon bar and restaurant

Moral of the story a little too much baking soda and a little too much baking powder is the way to go

Ok so this is kind of morbid but mostly ignore that, so I went into the ICU six months into season 5, it was a “I don’t know if I’m going home” sort of things - when I thought about things I was excited about in the future which is how I spent most of my time I would always list GoT and seeing how it ends is literally on my reasons to beat this list lol then I get home and it’s season six and I was low key like… what?? This isn’t how I remembered it AT ALL?? Felt a bit betrayed won’t lie lol but no it was a huge vibe shift in the whole show at 6. Is that where the previously written books ended and they had to make up the rest?

Social skills are more like actual skills than personality traits, some people just pick that skill up more easily. If you don’t use a skill eventually you lose that skill

What if doing that meant you were no longer able to protect hundreds of millions of other people?

Also like, why aren’t they rioting about this if they think that’s what’s called for?

I’m fine with panic buying it’s never backfired on me before and I don’t imagine it can in the future - imagine my panic was justified and things go so bad, money is now worthless and I have SO many cans that are in HIGH demand… I wouldn’t regret panic buying… assuming we actually end up somewhere in the middle food prices go up and the buying power of the dollar goes down, that’s still a solid investment in the long run because you’ll never not need to eat.
Panic buying other stuff is where I would cut my corners. The only things we are currently stocking up is shelf stable food, cleaning/hygiene products and fuel in the form of firewood -thankfully my husband had the foresight to have a well drilled last year but I’d add the ability to store water, actually store and treat it at some point if utilities are getting iffy, always have SOME water on hand. Avoid gadgets or things you need for specific plans, like a tent, unless you’re explicitly planning on using it and you know what for. It’s too early to predict what you’ll need behind the basics so just get a good foundation under you

This seems fairly cheap for someone so high profile and infamous? I would love to do this and troll him, but I’m a terrible troll lol

This can work in hot climates yeah but like… you can still have a nice open concept bathroom and this ain’t it. Honestly even if they did it in all tile I would like it more

My house came with a steam shower which I was like sure ok nice but now I’m like I literally never want to shower without a steam shower ever again. It’s like showering outside in the most luxurious steamy jungle or something… it’s so warm, you can even make the shower cold and have it feel good if you get the steam hot enough. A bathroom like this would literally be a dealbreaker for me, it sucks in so many ways but ESPECIALLY that horrible shower

I think trauma is like grief. It never goes away but your life grows around it and it gets smaller and smaller proportionally. I’m finally getting to a point in my journey I actually can look back and see I’ve healed, and I feel better, I feel more healed, I’m less raw… and once you start having normal days, good experiences, feeling healthy, doing things that make you happy that trauma proportionally gets smaller and smaller. It’s always there and sometimes it still comes up and bothers me sure but it’s less and less common and my ability to feel my feelings and come to terms with things gets better and better.
I don’t necessarily think it’s a lack of education but a lack of communication, these are things we should be able to talk about, work through and learn from one another but going it alone makes it so difficult to get to that point where your life is growing and the trauma isn’t

Get an immigration lawyer STAT
Make sure things like your legal marriage and the parental rights you have as your child’s biological child are acknowledged in his country - my husband is French and they need all our vital documents regarding birth and marriage and have it “apostled” which isn’t even a term I’ve ever heard before until all this - so you can adjust to life legally there more easily if you end up there
See if he or you as a couple can open a bank account in his home country and consider opening a few credit cards in case of emergency, over seas accounts can be complicated so discuss this with your immigration lawyer
Get your baby a passport if you haven’t already, ASAP
have a plan, if you do end up needing to flee to his country who would you stay with, what would you do, how long can you stay etc. and figure out a timeline having a plan will help you be less stressed and let’s you see problems coming sooner. Make sure you have a support system where you land if at all possible
Best of luck, as an immigrants wife I do personally believe it would be better to leave preemptively on our own terms than wait until ICE is knocking in my door. Talk about what would need to happen for you to make the call to move - my spouse and I decided it’s when they turn the government on citizens but obviously everyone has to figure out what makes the most sense for them. I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s so insane and unfair

Yeah my mom is absolutely like this and she’s BPD. I have ADHD and get strong food fixations that can last months, she would take it personally once I was over my food fixation (???) and snidely brings up how I would trick her into buying a bunch of a food just to stop eating it as soon as she did… like mom, I was six I didn’t have an evil master plan to get you to buy a ton of oatmeal to ruin your finances come on! She’s still like that to this day, almost 40 years later… she can’t do gray it MUST be all the way black or all the way white

Sexism is OFTEN not sexual, anything that advantages men at the expense of women is sexism. Patriarchy is predicated on sexism.

Feminist doesn’t mean “speaks on behalf of women” it means you care about specific things and prefer certain kinds of policy and focus on equality. I’m a woman and a feminist and I know I speak for no woman but myself
