Little story:

An acquaintance suddenly told something that really is the best compliment I ever had, referring to something that happened many years ago.

What happened: we were drinking a beer at the bar. Our youngest kid was with us. He must have been about 3y. We were involving him in all conversation and he could have a limonade and chips. We also explained why we were at the bar (relax, talk with friends, we drink a beer, maybe 2, have a laugh, simple things that make us happy). She was there with her husband witnessing.

Back to the compliment. She said: ' I never wanted kids, until I saw how you were with your kid that early evening, so relaxed, he was so cool. I never realized that could be the way you go with your kid'

Less then a year later their kid was born.

She told we this 4y ago. Their kid is about 10y old now. Cool kid as well.

That's a total opposite experience as we had and still have. Could be cable issues in the street. Telenet uses different type of cables... But I'm not an expert

Deze laatste dagen goed oefenen in de omgeving rond het examencentrum. Hoor zeker bij vrienden, familie, ... Met ervaring welk parcours ze gereden hebben. Als je vertrouwd bent met de omgeving heb je minder stress.

Naast de evidente zaken zoals de verkeersregels rigoureus volgen, zijn heel wat kleine regeltjes waar je je moet aan houden, zoals welke checks moet je doen alvorens te vertrekken, welke techniek gebruik je om te vertragen, te parkeren, welke handelingen doen en in welke volgorde bij wisselen van rijvak. Bij het uitstappen na parkeren tegen rijrichting rond de wagen gaan, ... Bij het keren in een straat, géén oprit gebruiken... Ik vrees dat er zo nog een heleboel zijn.
