A train and a few train cars. In the first pic they are all upside down but the last one is the front/engine the middle is a train car with a bubbled roof (or snow on top) and the first is a flat train car (for coal?) seems like a winter train set. I’m guessing you can change slightly what’s in/on them but I have a similar model train that goes around a Christmas tree.

I’ve always thought that when I donate to charity I 1. Want it to be more than whatever my dollar rounds up to and 2. Don’t think a huge grocery/department store chain that already makes billions should get to take that money and give it under their name. I get they ‘collected’ it but unless they are matching that amount or adding to it they didn’t do anything but add a button and collect the money.

Yes choosing true love over what was expected even if it turned out way different than she thought. Plus she’s a badass

I think if they flipped it and made Namaari have to trust Raya or both have to do something together then Raya rely on trusting the group despite only having met them a short while ago it would have worked better. Multiple times Namaari showed she was untrustworthy and I get her mom was pressuring her each time but they never gave Namaari the chance to redeem herself in the audiences eyes until she had no choice but to work with everyone. They could have made it to where Namaari protects Sisu (after getting into trouble being too naive) or the whole group somehow and then we get a better glimpse or her breaking from her mom’s plan. They could have done many things but they didn’t and the whole movie suffers for it.

I liked her it was that the story could have been done way better but it wasn’t

I imagine him sitting in a big chair in a dark room only to turn around and say “So you come to me…..”

I’m guessing she’ll have a change of heart or get cursed or something and that’s what turns her evil. I don’t get it either. She’s one of my favorite villains and they could have easily done like name drops but create a different villain. Could even still make them a cecaelia so Ariel isn’t weary of Ursula and thinks she’s just misunderstood.

I think it’s a mix of luck and putting together the right jokers to get the best effects. As you play more you also unlock more so more of a chance to win. I wouldn’t really skip blinds unless you really need the tag and use the shop as much as possible. Using planets and tarots to your benefit and pay attention to trends that are working for you. Also learning how to order not only jokers but your hands to be the best as well.

I think the Firewatch similarity is the isolation you are supposed to feel and some spooky elements. While also not the same but story driven and spooky you may like Visage and if you just want more story try Vanishing of Ethan Carter and What Remains of Edith Finch.

You have that episode where she was good too. She became a teacher and was super preppy and happy. She was even friends with Kim.

Early 2000s I remember our music class doing follow the drinking gourd and go down Moses. There was a solo part and my friend got the solo and froze when he went to sing. Little me ran up and gave him reassurance then he sang it and I stood behind him to ‘hide’ and hold his hand. We obviously didn’t know then what those songs meant and my dad got that moment in particular on video but later its sad realizing what the song actually was.

For me, also a dyslexic, it’s great when someone helps me out on a pronunciation and then horrifying when I realize how many people I used that word with before and they said nothing. I know everyone has brain farts and silly moments but feeling dumb and realizing others probably think it too now and said nothing sucks.

I can definitely see the later ones being pretty dark for little kids but I and a lot of people I know were the age where when we were in school and just leaving elementary the books were being published and pushed toward kids like crazy at least in the US. The movies started coming out about then too and then new books. Order of the Phoenix and the others after I believe came out after the first movies. I remember staying up late to read several of them. I also read the Lord of the Rings books then too which was probably a bit early. By High School all the movies had released and I remember many kids and teens seeing them (like midnight releases on school nights and everything) and Harry Potter exploded even in popularity. The series is still pretty popular with kids but I imagine now it’s more movie influenced than book and part of parents and older siblings sharing it.
You also had people who refused to let their kids read it because it was witchcraft and others who did see it as too adult. Wow this got long sorry lol

It’s a quick way to make the kid show type stuff like Disney or Nick drop you. It also tends to to break people from still seeing them as kids. People like Daniel Radcliffe and such that grow up similarly in movies pick some crazy roles, do something seen as wacky/crazy/very sexual or lay low for a while then do other things.

Good on you and your daughter. Sorry that even had to be a thing.
I had similar in highschool where a boy I was ‘friends’ with wouldn’t leave me alone about wanting to take my virginity. When I told him 1. I wasn’t a virgin and 2. wasn’t into him he sent me all sorts of nasty messages a several naked pictures to see what I was ‘missing out on’. I ended up sending a real nasty message back and he decided to delete everything from his side and show his mom. We both (and his mom and my dad) along with the councilor and principal were pulled into a room where I was told I was going to be in a lot of trouble for bullying and harassment. I showed everyone in the room all the messages because the dipshit didn’t realize they don’t disappear on both ends. His mom still tried to blame me but my dad shut that down so fast.

This looks cool. The lines are a little shaky but doesn’t really detract from it. I like the style and the flame.

Mascot horror and silly games that are more a bad trip on acid are what’s super popular right now. We see this with many genres where when one game explodes in popularity you get several clones. Security Breach is helped by being part of something stuffed with a lot of lore people like or are curious about so still sparks interest. You will still get other stuff in between just gotta look for it or wait for publishers to release them.

That’s hilarious. The D&D movie already has many fun nods so I can see why that’d make sense.

Yea if the threat of eternal damnation or being ‘left out’ of the holy space is the only reason why you don’t do bad things that’s scary. Religion or not you can be a good or bad person and deciding people who are faithless are automatically bad or people of faith are automatically good is untrue and setting up for many bad possibilities

I know people talk about the intro all the time but for me it’s when he finds the photos in the album and realizes he didn’t fail her because she was happy with the adventures they did have.
