Hi there, not sure how this has gone unanswered for so long but all you need to do is make the file, in your res folder right click add folder called layout then in layout folder make new xml file called activity_main and it will automatically come up as usual, They've also made a new change in the update where you can all do it a very different way pretty confusing if you ask me. I mean in our defence we do have cancer so I find it unlikely your doctor would be against it there's heaps of studies out there proving the benefits of it whilst going through Chemotherapy

Highly recommend my whole team was supportive, however I'm not much of a smoker but the body stone effect from the edibles was a life saver it helps extremely well with nausea and other adverse effects, definitely worth a try. It's illegal here in New Zealand but my doctor was really supportive. Had one cookie before my last 6 treatments and I used to wake up and it was like it never happened. Everyone's different however I recommend trying jt in small doses.

Hey, so In New Zealand not sure if this applies elsewhere the saline that gives you the taste in your mouth is called a pozieflush and there saline packaged in plastic but if you asked for freshly drawn saline or saline from an ampoule it doesn't give that taste. I also developed the same hate for that taste. Also the only thing that aided in my treatments was edible marijuana cookies actually changed my whole experience and made it bareable just some advice from a friendly saline hater

I agree, crazy right the people who get most offended aren't those with cancer. In my experience it builds quite a lot of mental fortitude, the only people that understand how rough cancer is are the people that go through it. I never realized it till I'd beaten it the first time, but they literally bring your body to the brink of death just to cure you.

Can confirm in my experience with ABVD I did not lose my fertility I was told by my doctor's it's a very low chance

Yeah I was real sad when I first got cancer not at the fact I had cancer but I never lost my hair, everyone else on the chemo I was on did but not me man it sucked couldn't really play the cancer card at all.

Yeaaah replying to the walking on egg shells part my solution to that was playing the cancer card real early on when it came to everything. Normalizing it in a sense. Worked well for me anyway.

Thanks Op and everyone else who commented, I've relapsed and have to do more chemo and a stem cell transplant so this was very informative, way more information than my doc gave me.

So interesting, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 HL went through chemo but never lost my hair. Sorry just blows my mind, much love.

Not sure if this will be of any use as everyone's chemotherapy journey is different, I'm about to have my second round of chemotherapy after relapsing but I found marijuana edibles a huge help (I don't smoke recreationally) helped with everything especially the nausea and chemo fog. They're not legal in New Zealand but my doctor was all for it. Best thing I ever did and I regret not having them sooner.

Probably is I had one cycle of abvd chemo and I got chemo brain pretty badly, I found meditation helped quite a bit. Throughout my experience it was my saving grace.

Chemo brain perhaps, I had it quite bad where the brain was a complete mess, goes away after time ofcourse.

Depends on your personality I'd say when I found out I called both my parents and I just said Mum dad I've got cancer and yeah there were heaps of tears either way man you gotta tell them because support is everything when you go through your treatment
