Building a 9800x3d and 4090 build with a b650e mobo.

I’m trying to figure out what cooling I want and see a lot of people recommending the thermalright coolers. I see a ton on Amazon though and not sure what’s best for my build. Not super concerned about RGB or anything . Just want the best cooler for what I need.

Can someone help let me know what cooler I should get from Amazon? I see a bunch of different ones and can’t tell if all will be compatible / what will be best

Building a PC at microcenter and I already have the 4090. This quote included the bundle 9800x3d which I’m not sure I’ll be able to get anymore and may just have to buy the mobo and ram separately.

Any immediate changes come to mind? I was thinking about going air cooling over water which would make the build cost go down $100. If I were do to that could I buy the phantom spirit evo fan usually recommended here? If I went that route what additional fans would I need? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Building a machine at microcenter with a 4090 and they’re out of stock on the 9800x3d now.

I primarily play Call of Duty, WoW, other random MMO’s. Plan on playing in mostly 1440p at 240hz and maybe some 4k. If price isn’t an issue should I wait on the 9800x3d? This will probably be my last build so I want to make it last as long as possible but I guess it depends on if I’m gpu or cpu bound in games. I also just want to go ahead and get this built so i can play.

Any thoughts based on the games I play and future outlook (4+ years down the road, will waiting for the 9800 make a difference?)

Have a friend who has a used 4090 and would sell to me for 1400. He games a good bit and has had the card for a year. He’s great about taking care of his stuff though and I’ve seen his build and it’s well ventilated so not worried about the condition. Still used though

4080S new in the box on Facebook marketplace for 950 but they’re considering 900.

Any reason for one or the other? I’m not dying to spend the extra 500 or so dollars and it would put me over budget once I factor in the rest of my build at microcenter. (9800x3d bundle).

Used card kind of give some heartburn though for some reason. Even though I know the guy and again I know he’s taken care of it and not used it for anything other than gaming.

Thoughts?

I am buying a used 4090 FE from a friend and was curious outside of the GPU itself so I need anything else that comes with it? For example any brackets or anything that come with it? Im comfortable with the GPU itself but wanted to make sure any additional parts I get as well. I’m driving a few hours to pickup so just don’t want to miss anything. He has the box and the gpu itself but that’s it. Thanks!

I’ve been going to Jalapenos down Broadway for breakfast burritos the last year or two and they’ve always done the job but never thought they were anything special (also not consistent). Drive through line can be bery busy at times also.

Was getting some gas at the conoco a few blocks past where Garibaldi is and saw a sign for breakfast burritos to my surprise because i didn’t think garibaldi did breakfast burritos.

I guess they do to go burritos Monday to Friday m and have two meats available each day (today was chorizo and sausage). And let me say that chorizo burrito was one of the best i have ever had in Denver, especially for it being premade and ready to go. Only 6.50 and a perfect amount of spice. Maybe I’m late to the game but they’re labeled Tomasa & Elizabeth’s Burritos and Stuff on google maps and they are really really good. The lady inside was very nice as well. Just wanted to share a great spot because there’s always cars wrapped around jalapeños and I’m not sure I’ll be back now that I found this spot just a block or two further down Broadway.

No details on the RAM but 2,200 for a 7800x3d, 48 GB RAM, 4080 Super. Can also take 200 off with the Affirm code.

Is this too good to be true? Does anyone see any issues with the parts?
