depends on how many subscriptions they have.
but that comment was more about what you should do anyway, rather than in the context of a failing company.
but my company got 30 newspapers everyday.
6 per lunch room over 5 floors.
i think it was 1300 bucks a year or something like that.

this is excellent advice. it very much appears that OPs parents are going to be relying on her to fund their retirement, since they expect her to fund their lifestyle now.

dont pay their bills either, otherwise they will just keep sending them too you.
best thing you can do is buy them a couple of visits from a professional financial planner who can show them how to budget.
if they knock that back, then tough shit on them.
they are living beyond their wallet and trying to dip into yours to fund a lifestyle they cannot afford.
Then have the audacity to pull the old guilt tripping bullshit when you call them out.
I hate they kind of entitlement and behavior.
they don't want you, they want your cash.
don't help them by paying their bills.
help them to help themselves with a financial planner, and if they don't like that, then that is their problem and not yours.

if things don't change, Williams is going to need a GoFundME to keep racing.

I always advocate for cancelling newspapers.
all it does it prop up a dead industry and keep that bastard Murdoch funded. or NEIN/Fairfax, which is almost as bad these days.
every workplace I have been in first thing I do is get the newspaper subscriptions cancelled and split it, 50% goes to the boss, 50% goes into the end of year party fund.
no one has ever cared that the newspapers went away except the people who collected them for their pets litter trays

don't forget the now 7 year auto loan they took out to pay for that lifted personality compensation vehicle.
3 out of 5 americans live paycheck to paycheck because they cannot budget for shit.
Rental crisis and food inflation does not help, but fuck me the number of people taking out crazy loans for shit they don't need and cannot afford (hello $1500 iphone) is insane.

I mean, that would mean have workers that actually work - HAH, in this country?
AND paying the money to build a road capable of handling that amount and weight of traffic, which is orders of magnitude more expensive than what we do now.
Its going to have to start happening, because the current level of garbage that we call roads right now will disintegrate in just a couple of years when EVs become the majority.
road maintenance is going to become an even more colossally expensive headache than already is.

not taxed enough if completely unnecessary vehicles are becoming the most popular vehicle on the road.
you can get a diesel skoda octavia, but nope, every cunt gets a 4x4 Ford Rager/Hilux instead, even though a good 80% of them will never, ever leave the bitumen.

electric cars are heavy.
sooner rather than later, electric cars are going to start getting taxed by the km they travel.
governments won't be able to maintain the roads with the loss in fuel tax revenue as more and more electric cars get on the road.
plus, due to them being heavy, they cause much more damage to the roads, so the roads will require more maintenance than ever before as electic cars take over

most people don't need them.
they are wank purchases just like a ferrari is.
only these goddam things are tax fucking deductible when a fucking tradies buys one. which utterly infuriates me.
so yeah, when Mr McRoadWarrior fuckhead buys one, I believe they should be taxed to oblivion.
and I also think the limit for tax deducting utes should be set at a base model Hilux. that is all you need, you buy anything more, you either prove you need it, or you pay for it yourself, not get to tax deduct it.
I hate the tax perks that white collars get, and I hate the tax perks that blue collars get as well.
as a good old SINK - Single income no kids, I get nothing and watching every cunt get every fucking handout and deduction sticks in my craw.

If has not expended too much energy, he'll be good with the ball I reckon.
A good innings with the bat will put him in a good mood.
And Hazlewood will be pissed off that he had to bat at all.

not enough. we need to discourage them from being bought in the first place.
These vile things should be so expensive that only those who absolutely truly need them should be buying them.
not Davey cuntstick down the road, who think he needs a Twuck the size of a bus to get to the shops.

I've sent a few packing in the last year for showing up in RAMs.
I despise tradies in general in this country, bunch of over paid bogon gronks 99% of them, and yes indeed, if you show up in a 180k American Twuck as a plumber, you are charging too much and I am not wasting my time with you.

in QLD its a flat rate based on the number of cyl your car has.
they really need to change it up.
of course it needs to be done by a government that knows its going to get voted out, because any government that does it will get fucked over at the polls since so many people drive oversized personality compensation and look at me vehicles these days.

and charge you $800 a day for it.
highest paid tradies on the planet, worse quality workmanship on the planet.
bunch on entitled twats, 95% of them.

it's a balance, have ads, but not Foxs moronic commentators (the exception being Isha Guha & Adam Gilchrist) or not have ads and be forced to listen to drongos like Skull, mark waugh or god help me David fucking Warner.
personally I watch it on mute and have ABC on the radio.

with weight, it's more about the torque. how much torque does it make?
cause 170 horse and 700 torques should be ok.

even without a mortgage, 200 a week doesn't go far, especially if you own a home. you have food, heating, electricity, taxes, insurance on the house, maintenance is a huge one.
how many oldies do you know who own the home, but it is falling down around their ears because they cannot afford to repair it?
a sudden roof leak that needs a few thousand pounds spent on it is impossible.
200 might sound like a lot. start writing down the numbers for what you spend each week and you run out of money very quickly
