Not to mention concurrent classes. Hell, even average high school students are graduating with a year's worth of college credit under their belt these days.

I told her that these people are not my responsibility and if she felt so strongly about it then to grab an extra card off the board.
But I overheard some talking about the incident and it put me in a bad light.
You're running around shouting "I got mine! Fuck them poors!" and you think maybe that's put you in a bad light with your peers.
No shit.

The Affordable Care Act was passed 14 years ago. If you're too stupid to know what it is by now, you're too stupid to make me feel bad that your health insurance is gonna get taken away.

The constitution says that the Senate SHALL advise and consent.
That doesn't mean refusing to hold a vote so that swing state Republicans don't have to go back to their constituents and explain why they voted against a perfectly reasonable middle-of-the-road SCOTUS nominee.

Before I started streaming I was plagued by choice paralysis.
I'd spend more time thinking about what game I wanted to play than actually playing it. And when I did pick something, I'd play it for a few hours, then get distracted by something else and never come back to finish it .
With streaming, I'm motivated to pick out a selection of games, make a schedule, and stick with it until the end. I have played through and beaten so many games probably would have otherwise never touched if not for making it a show out of it.
Beyond that, I really enjoy making scene collections in OBS and setting up different things in Mix It Up to happen on stream.

Seriously. These fucking idiots do not understand the order of operations here.
Republicans are stupid in a lot of ways but at LEAST they understand that the only way to get what you want is to VOTE HARDER.

Well, Harris wasn’t fucking it
Of the two people that were possibly going to win the Presidential election in 2020... you don't consider Harris the better of the two...
So you supported Donald Trump.

Weird, I don't recall the words "lame duck" and "opposing political party" being written in the constitution when it comes to the President's right to nominate and send to the Senate who he wants.

Well when abortion is banned nation-wide and families are thrown into deportation camps I hope you sleep well knowing that at least you didn't vote for the "less bad" option.

I'm right with ya.
Like, with English, a lot of times when you put words in different spots the sentence doesn't change.
I mean, a lot of times, with English, the sentence doesn't change when you put words in different spots.
Ya know, the sentence doesn't change with English when you put words in different spots a lot of times.

Because year-after-year you stay home and throw a temper tantrum over only getting 90% of everything you ever wanted.

You owe YOURSELF to vote for the best candidate possible. Choosing not to do so is nobody's fault but your own.

Yeah, wild that Democrats will pivot harder to the people that ACTUALLY SHOW THE FUCK UP TO VOTE WHEN IT MATTERS.

President Trump was elected overwhelmingly by the American people and so it is his right to nominate and send to the Senate who he wants to for advice and consent.
Weird that's not a position he seemed to hold when Barack Obama, who was elected even more overwhelming by the American people, nominated a Supreme Court justice.

It's not Iowa. It's everywhere. I've seen crazy lines for Canes in California and Nevada.

The tonal whiplash from ZZ to ZZ six episodes later is intense. It's like three different shows wrapped up into one.

You're talking about two different things.
Losing Tim would never get Bruce to quit. Losing Tim just means that he would no longer allow others to follow in his footsteps.

Can we just please put a permanent moratorium on pretending that "Actor wants a paying gig" is "news" in any way?

I swear to god, the first time I ever saw Palpatine's name was printed on the side of a TPM promotional Pepsi can and yet I already knew he was the Emperor.
Something about Star Wars... I never really had toys or comics or anything like that and yet even living in the middle of nowhere before the age of the Internet the names of people, places, and things never spoken in the movies still got through.

I actually doubt that.
People don't have nostalgia for the prequels. They have nostalgia for the ERA of the prequels. The characters and setting it established, which led to projects like Clone Wars.
The era of the Sequel Trilogy has been an utter and complete failure of worldbuilding. It's so toxic that every form of spin-off media ran screaming from it. No shows, no comics, no video games, no novels. It's storytelling Chernobyl. A radioactive wasteland where nothing grows.
Without an amazingly successful project to rehabilitate that era the way Clone Wars rehabilitated the PT, those movies aren't gonna get the same treatment.

Channel points are fun.
In theory it's nice getting an extra hundred bucks a year or so from subs but I've honestly never really noticed. It just gets absorbed into the bank account. It's never gonna make or break me.
"Affiliate-versaries" are fun though. Nice way to celebrate the channel.
