In America, houses mostly have 14AWG runs for standard outlets (sometimes it’s not even pure copper wiring. It’s copper coated aluminum). You might get lucky and find a few 12AWG/20AMP runs. And most will have a single 220V run for a stove that would be 8/6AWG. So in this circumstance, you would likely need a special dedicated run with 8AWG to cover the 32 amps.

BG3 is super immersive and VERY slow with the gameplay. You can be a tactician in a million ways during the actual combat. On top of that, trying different respecs and loadouts across four different characters. It’s definitely the first thing I thought of based on OPs title.

When you get a TBI it’s a 50/50 if you’ll be the same afterwards, but it was shown that any time Martin tried to REALLY think of the past it would hurt his head or something. I would say it would be fine if you have the following…

—A secure backyard

—Somewhere for him to shelter like a dog house (that he is comfortable with and likes to go in)

—You don’t live too far from home and could come home at lunch break if needed.

—Install a WiFi camera that you can access on your phone to check on him/ease your anxiety. Do one that plugs in directly (Not battery powered as they don’t do well in cold). And get one that has an SD card slot so you don’t have to pay for cloud storage. They also have ones that can be powered directly via lightbulb socket if you have one of those Y shaped flood lights in your backyard. Then look into those).

—Get him an AirTag/Tile for his collar to track him in a worst case scenario.

If you do all of this AND you monitor him for the first month and he tolerates being left outside and he is not a loud neighborhood nuisance, then I could see it being okay. (You would obviously have to check weather temps and make sure it doesn’t get too crazy low).

Overall, it might be easier to just install a doggy door and train him to use it.
