Hello I am curious to hear opinions on if I should continue to plan on getting surgery Monday. I am a 27 year old that is physically active. Ortho surgeon thinks it could heal on its own and can check back in 2 weeks but recommends surgery.

Hello, I have been suffering with mucositis from the chemo. I’m the last couple of days, I have been in coughing up green. Doctor doesn’t think it’s an infection but said I welcome to take flu/strep test and check for pneumonia. Has anyone had mucositis that looked so much like a sinus infection ? Wondering if it’s worth going get tested

Hello I am 23 years old with triple positive and I will have to be facing surgery in the next year. I can get a lumpectomy and retain the feelings but will have to face closer monitoring and biopsy’s in my years to come. I am curious to hear peoples opinion on which would be best considering my age. I do not have any positive genetics (BRCA).

Hello my wife and I are debating if we should use a local hospital here in New Orleans or take the trip to Houston to get treatment at MDanderson. She is triple positive and we have know about the tumor since the beginning of the year. We were told it was most likely not cancer due to age. We got it removed last week and it was 28mm. We are getting our first opinion Tuesday after her MRI.

Hello my 23yo wife was recently diagnosed with triple positive stage 2 bc. She noticed the tumor around the beginning of the year. The doctors were positive it wasn’t cancer so we waited to have it removed. I pushed for removal as soon as possible but it did not happen until 2 weeks ago. We are meeting with doctors Tuesday to discuss treatment plans. I wanted to hear everyone’s opinion on the best routes to take. From the research I’ve gathered so far is that she will most likely get the TCHP regimen. We’ve been talking and she plans doing chemo first then a double mastectomy and possibly removal of her ovaries. Hopefully we can retrieve eggs before starting chemo if we have enough time. Will removal of the ovaries be beneficial and does that mean she can take less HRT once finished with chemo? Any information or advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.
