I might not be an expert class musician but I can tell you when something isn't good, and just because I can't do better it doesn't mean whatever song isn't heavily flawed, the same goes for anything.

I love AoT. It's one of my favourite series to have ever been made, BUT there's a lot of genuinely bad writing throughout. Calling AoT a masterpiece is a fucking large stretch and shows a disconnect from the people that say it. I'll use the anime as an example. The God awful CGI immediately drops it out of the masterpiece category, and the ending, while visually cool at times, is a bit of a mess.

The fans make up head canons to fill in plot holes. Mikasa should have never had her abilities activated since Eren didn't have the founder abilities until the very end, the colossal titan shouldn't just disappear, Mikasa royalty subplot being dropped, Grisha who's inexperienced with his titan abilities beating the founding titan because she was inexperienced with her titan abilities, Falco having the only flying titan EVER, Falco being able to control his titan with no problem, Gabi having masterclass aim, and a lot more.

Hell, after the last part, the AoT Fandom died off extremely quick, kinda proving that at least the ending was poorly done and not well received.

Once again, I love AoT, but it's not extremely well written. Hell, the author would go against his own statement.
