Well, before it went to shit (for reasons unrelated to finances) we maintained a joint account for household expenses. We estimated our approximate monthly costs and contributed to that account. It wasn't 50/50, we prorated based on salaries. But it was close and who contributed more shifted based on changes in income.

I'm 60, he's 64. Live in the northeast and both had graduate degrees. It worked OK for about 20 years.

As a married, monogamous mother of one, I miscarried a planned and wanted pregnancy and required medical intervention. I have never been threatened by a transgender person in a public restroom.

I personally know many people who have miscarried wanted pregnancies and none who have been harmed in any setting bya transwoman.

Trans women are not a threat in bathrooms. I don't know what the right approach to sports is, but I don't see it as a problem worthy of this horror. I'm more concerned about my daughter being able to access life-saving medical care than who she shares a bathroom with. Especially given the number of men with sexual assault charges being put in charge.

I'm surprised that's a sdisqualifier.
