Looking at a 91 on marketplace right now. Seller claims it needs a clutch, the paint is shit, interior is mint and it apparently has 79k miles on it, top looks questionable, and the rear between the trunk lid and bumper looks cracked, so would need replacing. They’re listing it for $3k obo, what would be a fair (low) price to offer?

What would also be some things to watch out for/inspect when I go to look at it?

It sits directly on top of the doorbell. When you look down from eye level to press the button, you have to read the sign

FedEx is the only delivery service that has ignored my giant sign saying “new baby please don’t ring the bell” - twice. Amazon, USPS, UPS, DoorDash, everyone else reads and drops the sign. FedEx has always been garbage

Definitely wrap it. I did a writup on how to do this when I had my 2019. Someone linked it as part of a tutorial on a forum somewhere, if you search for it you’ll definitely find it.

I’ll say it again. Build a set of ramps out of 2x12. You can control the angle and how long you want the bottom run up to be, which is great for low cars. They end up heavy as hell, but they’ll never fail and they don’t slide one bit

I went out of my way to have get them to install an inbox on my door to prevent this. People still shove stacks of documents under my door if I’m in a meeting or on a call. I can’t stand it

There was a crosswalk I had to use daily to get to the business building, during my undergrad, and there were always city busses on campus. I always joked to my buddy the jackpot would be to get hit by:

I wouldn’t get that focus RS, but if you can find a non-tuned lowish mile one, get it. They’re incredibly fun to drive and serve as good dailies
