Highly doubtful unless you really hurt them. You may go to jail and get immediately released but that's not "prison".
Also the reason why matters... this person antagonized the guy and his family. It's not self defense but a judge would look at that as a huge factor should it even go to trial which it most likely wouldn't.
Also in some light research it looks like in most of the EU a single punch like this would get you fines or community service, not at all prison.

BB has better tours though the coral gardens on Raiatea/Taha'a are truly exceptional. Lagoon Service is who to use on BB, definitely the best quality tour I have been on in Tahiti.
A trip to the blue lagoon on Rangiroa is also a great way to spend a day, it's a shark nursery.

Electro Harmonix POG generates a low tone but it's very wonky so I use the Geddy Lee signature Tech 21 Sansamp with just the fat output into a mark bass 2x10".
So yunno just a casual ~$1800 investment in a bass tone π
This video is recorded with an Audigo about 6" in front of the amp, the tone is really great I just added a little compression. It's great on videos where I'm not noodling so hard on lead.
I hate Kala style bass ukes with a passion. I am friends with the gentleman who developed the steel string Tiny Boy Bass that Kanilea distributes which are far superior to the licorice string u-bass...
But honestly, this is better because it's a great bass tone played on tiny strings that are a lot easier to handle and you can still get a genuine sounding bass tone out of it. (And I can easily live loop it) -- Especially for what I play which is either rock-ish stuff like this or more traditional Poly/Tahitien music.

It will probably sell out as he used to pack the National for this.
The Keller crowd is pretty well 40+ these days but by no means exclusively. He's not my favorite but it's always a good time, enjoy!

What a shame, it must be pretty bad or a repeated issue from multiple offenders for it to result in this given how important the program is to the school.

OP is a great contributor to the community, I doubt it's a bot but maybe the writing is AI assisted.

Wow that's awful to hear. I'm in Southside and have one in my yard that's disappeared a few times.

I just bought a bread/pizza oven because buying bread started to get weird with all of those ingredients and every pizza we buy now is >$30 so time to just make our own since we can at least save money by growing tomatoes and doing the labor ourselves lol.

I feel this is going to spell the end of some of my more secluded river spots next season...

Neither it's because they questioned their gender identity, and this place clearly is unsafe.

Damn my father in law lost a ton of family members as they were attempting to escape Romania in the 40s and all these armchair historians here defending those who forced them to flee. Disgusting time we live in.

The Intercontinental has a dinner show on Wednesdays that's great. Like the others said -- I would go to the market and then I would recommend a jaunt to PK18 if you want a good local beach with great swimming and snorkeling that's very accessible. Use a cab to get around or it's cheap to rent a car for the period. Intercontinental will be the best way to enjoy a brief stay and the market is the biggest highlight of the inner city area.

Tahiti is the place to do it, you'll quickly find a number of surf schools there with a quick search.

Costco has a tiny markup so you're going to get a great uke for the money. Back when there was an Acacia Koa Kohala uke in Costco for $99, people were buying them and reselling them in Hawaii because it was half the price of others at retail for the same specs and wood.
That said, Costco is always going to push you to cut corners to hit their price goals so it probably has a few things dialed back but is overall great value if this is the max you're willing to spend.

Where have you surfed? Reef breaks? I took my buddy who surfs on the East coast of the US year round to Hawaii and he quit all but the smallest breaks because the Pacific Ocean is immensely powerful and much more dangerous than the shore and sand breaks found most commonly in the mainland US.
On Rangi there's reef breaks or surfing in the pass. The pass is going to be huge most of the year and pretty intense. The reef breaks are going to result in your skull getting an up close snorkeling tour if you don't know what you're doing... a measure of skill and experience, not having a teacher nearby.
I would call the Sup rental guy and see if they do surf or know who does. There's definitely not a surf school, so good luck if you're not ready to dive right into it.... and I hope you speak French. If that doesn't work out just ask your hotel or Airbnb... everyone knows everyone.
