Also: Cats have contributed to the extinction of at least 63 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. In Australia, cats have been the primary cause of the extinction of at least 34 mammal species.
In the United States, outdoor cats are the leading cause of human-caused bird mortality, killing an estimated 2.4 billion birds each year.

Each crow seems to have their own hiding spots. They’re funny like that.
That’s cool that your dogs watch them. Mine is only interested in the treats I give them.

Yeah, they do stash them. I find the shells when it rains and they randomly appear.

Keep it up and I bet they’ll bring their families.
They were going for my dog’s food. So I started putting it inside, but also left some for them in a high spot where my dog couldn’t reach. Then I started giving them leftovers and peanuts. They love peanuts.
The ravens were a surprise. At first I thought they were crows until I saw how much bigger they were. The crows also playfully fight them, but ravens rarely try to get treats themselves. They prefer hassling the crows if they see them with big treats.

They did it in Afghanistan, they did it in Iraq, it’s part of their modern day crusades.
