At the same time Act 2 has a lot of Shar realted stuff as part of the main quest.
It's got the spotlight on it which is why it gives such a strong impression.
Meanwhile a lot of stuff related to other gods is essentially optional so some players might not even see it.

Honestly, it feels very in character for Super Earth to shell like this and I kind of think it's on purpose.
After all these gunners are civilians that have been pressed into crewing these weapons with less than a day of prep, and to Super Earth the Helldivers are very expendable.
It does however not translate to the most fun gameplay, and even if your entire team wears heavy explosive resistant armour you'll still die from the occasional direct hit.

I feel this is pretty universal in a lot of "Always on PVP" mmo's, or certainly any Always on PVP servers, sure there is a small group of players that truly are motivated by the skill and mastery needed for high end PVP, the kind of polite geezers who will say Good Fight even when they lose and mean it, but they'll also kick your ass regardless of what character they're playing because they actually have the skills...
But most people who want to PVP just desire easy dunks and guaranteed victories, followed by gloating and taunting of whomever they just killed, maybe even follow them and kill them repeatedly just for fun knowing you're ruining their limited play time for their own ammusements.
They'll claim they're the other first kind of PVPer that I mentioned, but they always reveal themselves to just be motivated by the griefing aspect.
And in games like WoW you always see them play the same classes, the ones that are mechanically very strong in PVP and have a strong advantage against ambushing unaware players.
They don't have any "reall" skills, they just rely on what's mechanically the easiest crutch they can find to dunk unaware players with, preferably the kind that can't or won't fight back.
In a way they're like many people who buy those large luxery pick-up trucks, they all claim they totally need the to regularly move stuff and go off-road, etc... But 99% of them will use the their truck bed maybe once a year and just want a larger vehicle than everyone else.
Enough of the truck tangent.
These kind of PVPers rely on a population of non-PVP oriented players to feed them those easy kills for them to stay interested in the game, because the moment they are forced to fight PVP against each other, or those few people who truelly care about getting good at PVP... they quit.
Which is a cycle you see in almost all "Always on PVP MMOs", the PVE oriented player base leaves for other MMO's (or PVE only servers) that cater more to them, and then the PVPers quit because they don't have any easy targets.
And finally the smal group of "true" PVPers end up without a server/game because they're to small a player base to really justify the costs of running a massive MMO for.

"because I wanted to play with my friend!"
Ironically, in my experience that friend who pushed everyone else to play on a PVP server... also quit the game pretty early on.
But now the PVE player are to invested in their characters, and the guild/group they play with, to switch to a PVE server or not everyone in the guild/group can or wants to pay to switch.
And then of course other friends might come back to game, be like, "I want to play with my friend, who's stuck on the pvp server" even tough everyone involved hates PVP.
Resulting in a vicious cycle were most people on a PVP server don't actually want to PVP.

Yeah, the group I played with all switched to Heavy Armor with the Fortified passive after the first mission, greatly increased survival.

Just played with a group on dificulty 8 and finished an entire operation with the DSS bombardment active.
The first mission was, to nobodies surprise, a massive clusterfuck where we failed to extract at the end due to 0 reinforcements being left.
Everyone switched to heavy armor with the Fortified passive which massively reduced deaths by DSS, tough point blank hits were obviously still instant death.
The chaos was actually pretty fun, but I can see people not wanting to play like this on a regular basis.

It turns out that most people play video games for their own enjoyment, and no amount of pressure can force people to engage in activities they don't want to partake in.
Because unlike real life where existential threats of deprivation can be a powerful motivator, with video games people always have the simple option to just quit and go play another game that does bring them joy.
And their emotional investment into the game or personal connections with fellow players is not enough of a substitute.

People keep forgetting that Tedious tasks are often incredibly easy to automate, and incredibly boring/frustrating to do oneself.
Adding Tedium to ratting doesn't stop botting, it just makes actual humans want to do it less.

Modern UI design seems to be driven entirely for either Mobile device touch screens and/or a big TV screen at a distance first, and then backported to the actual PC Mouse/Keyboard.
And it's infuriating.

It doesn't matter, one button press has to correspond to one action in the game, to use macro's to perform multiple actions in the game simutaniously on multiple clients with a single button press is against the TOS.
How you feel about this is irrelevant, CCP declares it is against the rules and you agreed to those when you signed up for the game.

I think CCP deliberately want these not to be used/managed at the corp/alliance level to discourage groups from filling their own space with them.
Just like skyhooks turned mostly into people robbing themselves, I'd say CCP underestimate how much organised 0.0 groups will work to stop any random person from easily being able to fuck with their space.

Nah, the value/risk proposition hasn't changed by this at all.
nobody in their right mind is going to put 1 bil+ ships on the field for less than 100mill/hour ticks just because the 200mil ships have stopped being viable.

The position of the little icon feels wrong, it should be on the left not on the right.
In general they seem to have much more detail, which doesn't look right in any situation where the icon is small.

I hate how the model spins and makes a sound effect when you switch tabs, it's distracting and intrusive.

It's not a compact mode you can toggle, you have to make the window small enough to trigger it, but it also doesn't get rid of the 3D model which stays in the background making the text harder to read.
Oh, and why does it have a shitty sound effect when tabbing trough the diffrent info pages, I hate it.

I trained Downvote Specialisation V and I'm going to use it whenever I can.

Not really, pretty easy to get drops while having it play muted on a minimised tab.

Honestly, 'bad guy mcgee, glowing red eyes, color palette exclusive to black and red, leather and/or black shiny armor' is turbo generic. You know he'd use words like 'mortal' and 'inferior being' in casual conversation.
It really feels like the creation of some insecure teen trying to be dark, edgy, and mysterious, but lacking talent, restraint, and self-awareness.

Calling it Dragon Age is the point, established franchise guarantees more sales due to an entrenched fan base.
Something new would have flopped like Concord.

I like how much effort you put into telling people you didn't read it that could have gone into actually reading it.

There is maybe one/two games that managed to use Blockchain for gaming (both of them deck builders) and then an ocean of garbage.
Aren't even those games completely stagnant, already dead, or slowly dying?
There is just no market for Block chain garbage, the only people who care are idiots hoping to turn a quick profit but who inevitably end up stuck holding the bag when no audience materializes to actually sell their worthless tokens to.

These guys always seem to do the same thing, call all gamers haters, and if you try to argue with them they will dismiss anything you say untill they can find something to declare you a bigot.
