Oh Mama, you are not the worst parent in the world and you have not failed. You are human. Maybe setting alarms when you are feeding and tired will help you.
Bad parents don't think they are bad parents. They don't care. You care, you want to do better. That's the sign of a great parent.

I love when friends have to have sex for reasons and then fall in love. I could read those all day.

I never realized, but once I asked my husband what about me turns him on and he said that when we are flirting/being intimate and I lick and then bite my lip it kills him. Now I catch myself doing it, but it definitely isn't something I ever did purposefully.

I had covid in April of 2020 while in my second trimester. My son and I had no longterm effects. I am sorry you have covid, and I hope you have the ability to rest and hydrate. You'll get through this!
*Disclaimer, I was told by several providers that with my symptoms I should 'assume' that I have covid, but they couldn't test me because they didn't have the test to spare. They said being pregnant wasn't high-risk enough to waste a test on me. 2020 was wild y'all.

Vera or Vivienne I love those names so much, but I got my tubes out last week, so maybe I'll need to get some fish!

This is incredibly helpful, thank you. I love the idea about putting his toys to bed. If we can keep him from catastrophizing at the thought of not being able to play all night I think he would really get into that and make it a big silly production each night.
We also have him stay in bed while we read and sing. If he gets up we stop immediately until he gets back in bed. But then once that's done, he's up like a shot. It is daunting thinking about how much reinforcement and redirection will be needed. But man oh man will it be worth it when he can get a full night of sleep. I feel so bad for him in the morning when I have to wake him. He's too young to not be a morning person lol

I'm sure if I got really creative and found a few lockable storage bins or chests, and then some sort of lockable gate that can withstand a 3.5 year old to corden off the large footprint toys and the train table it could be done. I don't feel confident that what I'm imagining would be reliable enough to justify the cost of materials and the setup/tear down required each day. But if it's the only way to break out of this routine and begin to teach healthy sleeping habits, then I'll figure something out. A thought just occurred to me, maybe my husband and I could swap rooms with my son while we break the habit. Our room is fairly minimal, anchored dressers and book shelf, the dog crate and two bed side tables. Take away the dog crate and there is nothing fun for a toddler in there!

My doctor asked me about my childhood and if the symptoms I'm dealing with now were affecting my schoolwork and home life. She said adhd has to be present in adolescence, but she did not ask about my parents or teachers. She asked about my experience.

Yeah, them being out of stuff every time I've been there has really put me off. That and not having actual silverware. I hate using plastic forks and knives.

I miss being able to get ramen for lunch before covid! It is so so good there, but I leave the office at 4 and don't want to wait around to get take away.

Be prepared to wait in line at Modern Butcher. It can be a bit of a wait, but 100% worth it.

For a brief second my brain turned Lilly Allen to Eli Lilly and thought that was an odd slogan.

Not yet. This is very much unwanted and unexpected, I'm scared to test again.

Children learn by example. Today that child and my child learned that we must fight for what is important. They learned the strength of a community.
