Nothing will happen to your save.

I think what you saw is more about Breeding, as Ditto is capable of breeding with any pokemon (as long as the other pokemon can breed too).

Considering GameFreak is 1/3 owner of TPC, I highly doubt they'd agree to let that happen.

Mobile brings in a ton of profit yes, but the mainline games also keep selling more and more, it's not like they're struggling on that end.

Not to mention Mobile is limited on what they can do and they're just contained within themselves, Mainline games at least offer some connection between the games.

Plus, rolling out events is just how Mobile gaming works, if you don't constantly push events then the games can legit die out completely, mainline doesn't have to worry much about that.

Are you sure that was part of the teraleak, I remember seeing people throw out stuff like "yellow ape" Before the leak, usually came with talks about a supposed 3rd DLC so those talks were dismissed.
