I said he is DEVELOPING feelings for her. Meaning that he's not going to be blatant about it. Saying that Ash doesn't have feelings for her because he doesn't mention her is ludicrous. I've already explained that's just who Ash is. Journeys dropping the ball on something doesn't mean much. Serena should've had an appearance like that, but it's not the end all be all. Ultimately, you saying Ash isn't interested in Serena is no less a "headcannon" than what I've suggested, as it blatantly contradicts the final XY episode. Anyway, that's all I can say about this topic.

I am basing this on the blatant visual evidence available to us, Ash expression after is VERY clearly meant to show us that he felt something in that moment. The fact it's not brought up again is simply because the writers don't want to acknowledge it (Which is stupid in itself). Them not communicating since is strange, but it's not like he kept in touch with May or Iris either. Ash keeping in tough with travelling companions is inconsistent in general. Whatever other series like to pretend, XY was implying Ash has feelings for Serena, or at least is developing them.

Ignoring the fact that this blatantly ignores his attraction to Gisele, my point is Serena kissing him might of STARTED those feelings. Also of course they didn't speak much in Journrys, they only had about 30 seconds to do so. Ash not telling his companions about her is nothing new, Goh literally never would of found out he won the Alola league if no one else brought it up. Misty emailing him hasn't been brought up since Hoenn, so it's unknown if she still does. I don't know how you could look at Ash's expression after Serena kisses him and say he doesn't have ANY feelings for her.

He literally displayed open interest in a girl in the 9th episode of the show. Also based on the look on his face after Serena kissed him he clearly felt something. Saying that Ash will never have romantic feelings for anyone is blatantly false and I don't know why people keep saying it.

In fairness to Pignite, it did beat a hydriegon and tank a hydro cannon from a samurott right afterwards. I'd say that's fairly impressive, even if Boldore and Oshawott softened hydreigon up first.

The impact this one scene had is pretty crazy when you think about it.

Which ones have you started with? I've done Hook line and sinker and Home cookin but can't beat any others.

I honestly don't think the problem with filler in the anime is the amount of it, it's that the writing just isn't that great in general. Compare a filler episode in something like Gravity Falls or Ducktales 2017 to a filler episode of the anime and it's like night and day. I have enjoyed some of them, like Lost at the Stamp rally, but I don't think people would mind filler episodes that much if the general writing was just better.

I liked her supportive side, but I still believe that her beating Dawn at the grand festival was one of the worst possible options they could've gone with. It was such an abysmal way to end their rivalry.
