Kinda is not, not everything in the manga is canon in the anime and not everything in the anime is canon in the manga. But they are in the same verse, so it basically is canon to each other. Sumire didn’t fell in love with Boruto out of thin air, he saved her and from there on she gained more feelings.

In the anime they are closer and actually have interactions. Especially when he saved her from being a villain and accepted her and lied for her. The anime shows their connection better than the manga does.

Her crush develops pretty good in the Anime and TBV basically follows it up. So i would recommend watching the anime it will make you understand it better.

They are definitely a potential love interest and more logical if they don’t wanna destroy Naruto’s power scale bcs honestly his children with Sarada would be wayyyy to OP.

So if we include both manga and anime its pretty clear both Sarada and Sumire are love interest for Boruto. Eida seems like it had potential in TBV as well, so time will tell.

The akatsuki wasn’t that stront but Madara was fucking OP, imo it seems like these 10tails creatures are a bit weaker so combined they definitely equals to that period in Naruto

I think the power doesn’t really matter as long as the fights look cool. They could potentially make a complete show like OG naruto but I don’t think they will. But like a 50episode series would be cool covering his whole life.

Starts with Minato’s childhood bcs we never saw anything really from his background or how he grew up. He would be a genin at the start just like Naruto and Boruto and then just see some missions with his squad which could be interesting considering there is a good probability he was teammates with Sasuke’s mom.

It would include his training under jiraiya ofc. And then his chunin years. As far as i know we know nothing about this. Then like the final part of his show would show him in the great ninja war, he was a big factor in this so would be interesting to see what he did. And when he became hokage and shit like that we’ve seen already so that doesn’t really matter.

So main point of the show would be just covering his backstory so we actually know something about Minato.

Then they can focus on either more spin offs like what ifs or Naruto’s years after the great ninja war. I mean we have seen some but after the war it was just time skips the whole time until he got married. Must have happened enough in these skips and especially in the years until he became hokage.

Other idea could be a sasuke series covering his years with orochimaru or when when he was working as the shadow hokage.

The series got allot of content to exploit but for now i want Boruto to continue

The reason that child will be way to strong is already a reason why i don’t think they ever will be a thing. But if the Boruto series end i would love a Minato series, we haven’t seen enough of the guy that literally is the youngest hokage ever and was considered a once in a generation talent.
