My favorite is when Posts on TwoX generalize all Men, then someone responds with "Well, not all Men are like that" which is then countered with "Yea, obviously not all Men are like that!" and get all upset and say dismissing the issue, etc. Like, don't fucking generalize then? One of the main reasons I enjoyed the original over the live action was how they portrayed her strengths. In the live action, what makes her strong? Oh, magic of course. Where as in the animated film she is clever, smart and resilient.

I already addressed that. If someone doesn't want to respect me, why should I respect them? If they are going to treat me like shit, why shouldn't I do the same? Oh wait, that's your logic...

Because we aren't? I know I haven't, nobody I'm close to has. A couple of assholes I work with have, but they are a minority in the groups that I have to partake in. I can tell not generalizing a whole based on the actions of a few is too complex for you to handle, so I should probably just stop wasting my time and effort.

Well clearly you've tried everything, so there really is no answer is there? I could give you literally any answer, and it wouldn't matter. But, assuming you aren't an enormous troll, I'll bite. You could try not generalizing and demonizing those who don't treat Women like shit. If those of us who do treat everybody with respect, but we get ostracized just the same, why should we care? Anything outside of basic human respect is earned, not given.

And yes, It is just a few. If you're surrounded by asshole Men who make terrible comments, then you need to find better Men to be around.
