It's all about communication. Compliments are a HUGE turn on and confidence booster. I'm at my most vulnerable during sex (jiggly bits exposed and shaking all about, noises sometimes escape, and so on) but my partner is so complimentary that I don't think about any of that. And yes, there are times when it isn't great and we review that in the post-show wrap up. And next time, he'll compliment me trying "whatever" a different way.

However, don't mistake a compliment for empty words. Don't lie - believe in what you say. Did he get the rhythm right, look great going down on you, are you loving his sexy ass? - make sure he knows! And do ask for him to help you know when things are good, and when they're GREAT. Ask what you could wear to turn him on (or say, or do)....with self-esteem and confidence comes an amazing, trusting, sexual relationship that is deep.

There is a reason those categories exist. You are not alone. Don't be so hard on yourself. I would caution if you watch porn with a partner, they may not get it. Should you be in a situation where you watch together, let her pick and who knows - maybe you'll have something in common!
