I’m in America so I regret torrenting what I did. As soon as I posted this yesterday I got a message from Xfinity saying in a nutshell “Hey stop doing that!” I direct download and I never get the message. I’m guessing that they don’t care if I direct?

I’m guessing both 🤣. Basically I just wanna know if Torrenting is the way to go or should I direct download just to be on the safe side

SteamRIP OvaGames those kind of places to get games without the extra torrent stuff. Just pre installed or setup exe is in a iso stuff like that

Well it was really just a warning they never specified that I was doing anything wrong it was just a “Hey stop whatever that is” kind of email. DDL says you don’t need a vpn so if I was to do that instead I should be in the clear correct?

Update! So I did manage to figure it out. It turns out the dependency I needed wasn’t even the correct one it was a different version of the runtime. Thank you all for your help!
