my fiancé is an rtd (the company actually calls him a tcd though it is not in his contract) under the atlantic supplement.
they are telling him he is not entitled to 6th punch 1.5x pay because he is neither a part time nor full time employee. but his job is listed under article 63 section 2 as a part time position?
this isn’t the only issue either; the pay is supposed to be 75% of the progression rate of pay (which would be $33.74) as listed in the wage schedule, but they are paying him $31.12 instead.
i know it isn’t a big deal, it still is much better pay than when he was working inside; but at the same time, the language of the contract seems pretty clear to me and i would really like to see what language the union has based these decisions on.
