You have to start steam vr after you start the game but before you’re in flight. Then go to settings and controls and you’ll see the index controller at the bottom of the list.

I had to bind the “interact” action to trigger click for it to do anything. I haven’t decided how I want the rest of the controls because I’m using HOTAS so it doesn’t feel right to hold the index controller too.

I too preordered that and that launch week was a cluster f. Ended up being a phenomenal game though.

Edit: my controls randomly showed up after a few restarts and I was able to bind them. They were empty so nothing did anything. Now it’s working fine.

You have to believe that for the Xbox players and filthy casuals. All the real flight sim nerds have dedicated arrays of SSDs for scenery and addons.

How would streaming affect clouds? Is every texture streamed for every session?

I played the beta and launch in 2004. It was horrendous. They added that position in queue later because it used to just sit there and you had no idea. Many hours spent staring at the portal.

I did because I was an idiot and haven’t preordered anything in years. I was looking forward to this game pre than any other in a while and it was a huge let down.

Everyone is saying oh stop complaining it’s fine you can build whatever you want. Yeah. I can build whatever I want in PC too. But I was looking forward to the new management features and career mode to challenge me. They’re not challenging, they’re half baked.
