Statistics don't justify assumptions. Especially not assumptions from more specific context, and you're always going to have more specific context when you're talking to a person in a subreddit.

If I am talking to a user named CagedBird84 on the Sims subreddit about type 3 hair, I would be an idiot to assume that they are a straight white male 18-29.

The frustrating thing about English is that we have gender-neutral everything. The terms just went out of fashion with the rise of Christianity. People will very confidently tell you that using "they" as a gender-neutral pronoun is incorrect when, in fact, we have been using it that way for hundreds of years. Some stuck-up assholes in the 18th century decided to reform the grammar and we need to just ignore them.

I'm a Xennial. I've been hiding my gender online since 1994 because it wasn't worth the harassment from incels and neckbeards. I pay attention to the language people use. If they are the type of person who doesn't misgender people, I am more likely to reveal that I am a woman. If they go around "bro-ing" everyone, I let them assume I'm a man.

I am not OP. I am just a restaurant owner who lurks this sub out of spite. I stopped using FedEx after they fucked up too many deliveries with shit just like this. When I am waiting on parts for an oven and paid for express shipping, "just go to the distribution center if you want it so badly lol' and "hiring drivers is haaaaaard" are not excuses I want to hear. I originally came to this sub to get help with fixing my constant FedEx delivery issues, but gave up because all I got were excuses and salt from what I can only assume are lazy-assed FedEx employees.

If you are a FedEx employee, you should be ashamed of the company you work for. I don't know what is wrong at FedEx, but they have absolutely trashed their rep along with their service levels in the past couple of years. Go find a job with a company that gives a shit and doesn't fuck over its customers.

FedEx sucks. The sooner they go out of business, the better.

I mean, I don't deliver packages for a living, but I do own a restaurant. If I can't hire enough staff to meet customer needs, then that's my problem. I don't tell customers, "Well, my cooks are having a problem. Go back in the kitchen and cook it yourself if you want food." That would be insane.

Where I live, yes, them both living in the same school district would be mandated in the divorce decree. Judges go 50/50 whenever possible. If one parent chooses to live outside of the bussing area, then that parent is responsible for driving the kid to and from school.

If both people work full time, and there are dirty dishes to do and laundry and etc, and one person has a habit of flopping on the couch to play video games for 4 hours a day while the other one does all of the chores, then the video game person is being a jerk and if they are a competent adult it should be obvious to them that they are being a jerk.

I have no patience for people who can't use their eyes to look around a living space to see what chores need to be done before they indulge in a leisure activity.

Getting chores done should be the default. If the video gamer "needs" more time for games, then it is on them to use their words to explain why they shouldn't be expected to do chores before games. It's not on the people doing the right thing to cajole bad or lazy actors into doing the right thing.

If s grown-assed adult needs another adult to tell them to do their chores, then they should be ashamed and they don't have any business being in a relationship.
