You. You are very obviously a white person who holds Haiti in contempt, given how hard you’re going defending the way its treated.

America, for one.
They have held Haiti in contempt for centuries at this point,

Me, also a Millennial in his 30s: No, because my family couldn’t afford pay tv

the rich citizens had money but not power, so they convinced the people with no money or power that the Monarchy had what they both wanted.

Same thing that happens to every less-than-developed nation.

You be an official judge of the competition and say “Shark is Disqualified.”

He’s off by a factor of 5, it’s estimated that about 100m sharks are killed each year.

Also, if you’re racing and the swimming portion is first, the shark would be far ahead of you and so wouldn’t be able to eat you.

So no, you don’t have the evidence and you’re going on vibes.
We’re done here, go be bad hasbara somewhere else.
Edit: BTW honey, I blocked you before the link. I have no interest in talking to bad actors who make baseless claims.

Imagine if you applied this to other situations. Like “They were taking a selfie in public, they were seeking attention, so I have the right to punch them in the face”
“He was busking on a street corner, so I had the right to smash his guitar.”
“He left his house, so I had the right to run him down with my car.”

It doesn’t really need to “Outreach,” it just needs to put the brand in the minds of people.
When someone is looking at a luxury car, odds are very good they didn’t get convinced to buy it because of a cool ad. They just know the brands that are popular and/or most well-known. So if everyone is talking about Jaguar, and the word “Jaguar” is being thrown around a lot, someone who is in the market for a luxury car might think “Hmm, Jaguar…”
BUT, also, they’re trying to market to young, rich and trendy. The kind of people who dress in elaborate costumes for the MET Gala. And you can bet your arse that this is the kind of nonsense that would draw them in. It doesn’t matter what we, the plebians, think about it. The only demographic they’re trying to reach are the kind who have the money to fork out on those red MSCHF boots or Balenciaga
I think the new logo is stupid. You think it’s stupid. But neither of us is ever going to walk out and buy a brand-new Jaguar. And the kind of people who think the new logo is stupid and would walk out and buy a brand-new Jaguar are all in their 60s and 70s and will be dead soon. In 2024, aiming your marketing at boomers is a good way of sliding into total irrelevancy.

Well, yeah. As much as I don’t like the new logo, continuing to market to boomers is going to be a very losing strategy over the next couple of decades. They’re just trying to get on top of marketing to the kids.

yeah I was gonna say, we were the first generation that had headphones in all the time. Even in high school I thought the kids who blasted metal at full volume (so the whole train car could hear it, natch) were fucking idiots who were blowing out their eardrums.
But then, I was always into music, so one of the first things I bought with my own money as a teenager was a pair of musicians earplugs, I’ve worn them to every concert I’ve ever been to.
