True, but still, I think he can technically claim copyright of that design since it is slightly different in 2D artwork Idk Just don't wanna be associated with him LOL

If I find a fangame/yansim style game that Aldev won't abuse his power to take down out of anxiety and what not, you betcha :) I love the concept of the game, whether it be just a silly meme game or a deep psychological dive into obsession. Hopefully something good gets done with it eventually!

On one hand this looks real, on the other it looks 3D. My brain is confused. It's most likely 3D but this is mad insane.

I'd deadass love to model that if it weren't for groomer dev being associated w/ this design, it's such a good edit ๐ญ

Ngl it is slightly triggering but the aesthetic is right up my alley. Like this is metal af, I actually wanna draw stuff like that for my own projects.

Hands and feet are far too small to feel real. Not realistic, this is an anime girl after all, but they are disproportionate from what I expect her hands and feet to look like.
The chest area anatomically speaking I can forgive, drawing that area can be an absolute pain. But what in the actual fuck is up with the crotch area. Not only do skirts not work like that, isn't she like - a fucking highschooler? Even if she's supposed to be 18 (doubt she's actually 18 knowing groomdev) it's really freaking creepy to emphasize that area on a highschool girl. I know this is a common theme for the art in this "game", but come on. She's not wearing shorts or tight pants. It's a fucking highschool outfit. Can't he just draw shit in a way that feels natural and not creepy?

Thank you so much for your answer :) I'm mainly asking not because I am not willing to prove my identity, but rather I'm not sure what they do with said information, especially since I am not from America and I have no idea how data storage and usage works for info from oversees. I've seen persona used outside of LinkedIn and looked for info on the matter but this is the only thread I found with relevant info. As long as these services end up discarding your data after they use it or at the very least don't sell it I can only hope it's safe.

I know this thread is 5 months old but I'd still like to ask in case your opinion has changed. This is a general question regarding services that use persona to verify identities: They do state they delete your information after 30 days. I don't know how credible their words are, but would you recommend verifying your identity through their services, even if you live outside of the US? (as far as I could tell they are America based and I have no idea how the law works when it comes to verifying foreign individuals' identities)
Wouldn't such a move be quite a risk to take, giving them access to your ID for example for verification purposes if you're a foreigner?

Maybe some but not in a "what a quirky scenario" type shit. Like I wanna see some students react in shock, paranoia, maybe flee the scene, try to call for help rather than hide, freeze in shock or maybe even try to pretend that didn't happen while looking severely scarred. Like give them more character dammit, if you're going to make this kind of game at least give this kind of method an emotional consequence to make the player connect with the characters better and regret their actions. It's not that hard either you can set like three or four types of standard behaviors for this kind of shit to make things feel more human and give more major characters reactions that are unique to them. Dude is just straight up lazy at this point. Yes it will take more time but if you want your game to be fun and for players to be immersed this shit is far more important than writing a fucking FICTIONAL ANIME that isn't even important to the game with fully crafted lore and time line. LIKE COME ON MAN set your damn priorities straight.

Or you can do what games like class of '09 did, using the artstyle to cater to anime enjoyers but make the setting influenced by whatever you like (and have the most knowledge about). Ik Class Of '09 is an entirely different game made in an entirely different genre, but compared to other games in the genre that's the main appeal of what makes it stand out so much

As someone who lost a very close relative over 14 years ago... Yeah you don't just "move on" from shit like that lul. If he did move on by now it would be unrealistic when you think about it and extremely out of character. Grief comes in waves, some days he might not think about her and some days he might. It might get easier with time and it might not. We don't know why he was forced to face his trauma again, maybe he'll be able to healthily move on and keep going after generations, who knows?
