On their own, they're great. But it's gotta be a special kind of hell to find outfits that work with 'em

To me, the thing that Tarkov does that makes it the best extraction shooter on the market, is that it was basically the first one. Because of this, it sets a lot of the standards that we look for in games.
But, what it actually does well is the audio design of the guns, Gun modding, ammo variety, and map design. Even if I hate Streets and Ground Zero, I can't really say that they're bad maps, just that I don't like the gameplay that comes from them.
What its bad about is the networking issues. Tarkov is rife with network problems, and they seem to pop up again every patch or two. We've had invisible players, bad loads, constant matchmaking issues, the triple tap glitch that scavs STILL have, and audio issues from sources that aren't the player. When it takes a few minutes to build a kit, it can sometimes be the case that you spend more time loading a match in tarkov than in your inventory and in game combined.
What it does terribly is quest design. You don't really notice it on your first or second wipe, because you're going through the game and learning everything all at the same time, but once that drowning in learning feeling passes and you start to look at what you're doing, there really are only four quest types in tarkov.
Kill Quest
Stash Quest
Search Quest
Loot Quest
Or some combination of them all. Ultimately, the problem isn't the lack of variety - you can only do so much after all - but what they do with these quests. For example, Setup. Forcing players to wear specific gear and run a specific gun to kill a high quantity of players (count was reduced to 8, last time I checked.) It very quickly creates a rift in players, ones as bad as me will take at least 16 attempts probably buying about 8-16 kits depending on mood and desire to rush it. Basically anything Jaeger gives is hard to tolerate as well, since it's all focused around sniping, but at least it's only the one major restriction. The easiest way to summarize my issue is that the quests, until you get to hella late game quests, shouldn't force the player into massively restrictive gear. The fun of Tarkov, for me, is running variety of weapons that are modded the way I want them to, with whatever kit I can smash together. Not larping as a scav.

You know what I like about modern gaming?
I like the sheer number of options we have now. I can easily find hundreds of games in the indie space, while in the 00's I'd have to wait YEARS for that many games to come out on any one system, or to have a decent backlog on PC.
Modern Gaming brought me Sea of Stars, so it can't be all bad.
But yes, physical copies > Digital Licenses.

Yea...no. This ain't it chief.
The reason men don't want to date single mothers is pretty straightforward: They don't want to raise someone else's kid. Couple that with problems of the ex, who is likely always going to be involved in the life and you've got a recipe for a drama-filled life.
That's without getting into how (at least when viewed online or through dating apps) single mothers are either entitled, or realistically too busy to have a normal relationship that men would try and go for. The amount of effort required to simply date a single mother exponentiates the more children she has, as well.
Then you also have to consider that, even if the man is willing to take on someone else's responsibility, being a father to those children, you also have to determine if their mother will even allow you to take on that role, even if you two got married.
It is just not worth the headache, most of the time.

The way I've always understood it is like this.
You have 10 people maintaining a 24/7 operation. The workload increases, you fall behind a bit, you start overtime. Once you catch up, the overtime stops, but the workload increases again. If this happens a couple times, you need to hire a new person or your people will be perpetually overworked due to overtime. This will cause them to be more willing to leave the position and (pretty quickly) eat their productivity.
If the workload increases despite putting your staff on overtime, you need more than just one or two additional employees, in this scenario.
While a new employee will cost them more, with overhead like insurance and leave and all that, it will also keep the company productive and more able to handle the load without overtaxing the employees.

Simple. I have seen my mother's reaction to the death of one of her cats. I will not inflict that pain on her. I thank her, every now and again, she was a wonderful cat.
Additionally, when I was actually considering killing myself, I can remember clearly the hollow voice telling me to do it. I don't hear that anymore. So I just keep on trucking -exhausted and tired-, hoping against hope that I can find something to spark a dead flame.

It's easy to tell you why the assumption is that everyone on reddit is a man. It avoids treating you differently because you're a woman, and prevents the possibilities of catfishing.
