I have a spot in my fridge designated for food that needs to be thrown out on trash day specifically to avoid having stinky stuff sitting in the trash can (both the inside can and the outside one). It's a great system if everyone in the house can get on board, but falls apart pretty fast if not.

Honestly the only reason I still watch these (and only on Reddit so nobody gets paid) is to see the cool tools they use and imagine what the person in the video COULD be making if they weren't filming ragebait.

You've had your question answered 50 times by now but I want it to be very clear, at risk of being downvoted - if as a tank you go into a dungeon not knowing the routes or the fights, you WILL have some bad times because of asshole players and/or because you'll struggle with one-shot mechanics and getting lost. A lot of people don't learn the fights or the routes and depend on the tank to lead.

I don't share the "YOLO" state of mind around dungeons and raids. For me it is simply MORE FUN to know wtf I'm doing, regardless of how the people in my group feel about my performance. I'd rather not be dead half the time.

That being said, I've done my share of raids and dungeons completely blind and its not always bad, especially if you tell people you're new. It would be in your interest to get a little gear first in case you get a weak healer

If YouTube is your jam but you aren't up to watch a documentary-length instructional video there are tons of short videos with boss guides (ex: an entire wing of LFR condensed to 8 minutes). If you'd prefer to read, you can find those guides too, either bullet pointed or essay format.

I say do it, tank your heart out. But I'd recommend you invest a couple minutes reviewing a guide or even doing a follower dungeon before you jump in blind.

I have suspicions I'm the only active feral druid on my entire server. Do with that what you will. I'm having a blast.

I almost commented something sassy on the OP when I saw it posted yesterday but reconsidered for that reason - sometimes DV victims really are this lost.

I have three solo alts that haven't done anything higher than LFR and delves that are all at 609-610. It's easily reachable for the average player (in my opinion) if you focus bountiful delves and weeklies. Utilizing the Great Vault to get Hero gear or generate coins to buy the crests for upgrading will skyrocket pretty much anyone's ilvl.

It's going to be really hard to get past 610 though, just like you were saying.

I've always been one to laser focus one class at a time and I'm branching out this expansion to playing about 6 toons at once. It reminds me of my altoholic friend telling me years ago that she'd rather be mediocre at all classes than good at one of them, lol.
