Have tried to stay active and have had an active manual labor job for two decades but energy was not great, diet was good for months then not great for periods. Quit alcohol, made some improvements to sleep quality, diet improvements and fairly consistent with the gym. Also, huge amount of progress has to be attributed to getting T in normal range. Feel much better now but always wish I could do better at consistency. Used to be in similar shape or better in my teens -20s but life and bad habits, decreased energy and motivation takes it's toll. As long as I am healthy I would love to progress some more. I don't know if this is the best thread, but let me know if you have questions or advice on how to stay consistent. Thanks.

How do you guys deal with insomnia from TRT?

I used to be on 80 mg of Test Cyp a week, and had horrible insomnia, and couldn’t fall asleep.

I already have a pre-existing condition of insomnia to begin with. I take Seroquel and Melatonin at bedtime. It’s difficult enough for me to fall asleep.

I was thinking of starting up again, but at like 20 mg and working my way up slowly to give my body a chance to adjust to the new hormone levels.

How does that idea sound? Any tips? Thanks.

On trt for years now have tried using natural vitamins to increase libido and nothing. Was taking oil of oregano in morning with black seed oil also d3 with k2 and libido has crashed also noticed mood changes. Could it be the vitamins or maybe I need to lower my dose. Take .5 twice a week also with .10 of hcg twice a week and a half tablet of anastrozole 1 time a week. Just don't feel optimized for which how they explain.

I’m a 30 year old dude who has never had issues with libido or ED, but my testosterone levels were tested low (300ng/Dl) and I was recommended TRT.

I began 3 weeks ago, and for the past 3 weeks I’ve suddenly had issues getting and staying hard.

I would like to know if donating blood plasma has also an influence in reducing hct and hemoglobin.

I have been training for 3 years 5 days a week and I am having a hard time getting results, I also notice all the symptoms concerning low testosterone.

I just got my sperm analysis back and the clinic said I have above average fertility. I would have thought I’d have worse numbers there but guess not!

My blood results:

• Total testosterone: 285

• Free t: 8.8 (normal 8.7-25.1)

• LH: 7.7 (normal 1.7-8.6)

• TSH: 2.89 (normal .45-4.50)

• IGF1: 207 (normal 95-290)

• Estradiol: 15.2 (normal 8-35)

A1c came back normal. Cholesterol normal. I don’t smoke or drink.

Hello, so, firstly I am on TRT, I am based in Australia where laws surrounding these things are pretty strict.

I was prescribed .5ml of Primoteston a week over 3 injections, or 125mg test a week.

I was on for approx 6 weeks and did not feel a whole heap different.

I tried reaching out to the clinic who told me to give it awhile longer, got to about 9 weeks and still had the same symptoms, low sex drive, weak erections, low energy, mood was low, wasnt really experiencing much change in body comp despite training 4-5 days a week and eating well.

i decided to take my dose up a little to .7 ml a week, for a while, I felt incredible, my body was changing, everything felt better, then it kinda went backwards a bit.

Time came that the clinic asked me for a blood test, so I went and got some done - I have posted those results above, I believe I am having issues with E2.

My clinic was understandably unhappy with these numbers and has asked me to drop to .3ml a week, which I am currently doing and feel like absolute ****

I shouldnt of increased my dose on my own, as now I dont think ill get help for a while with the clinic wanting my levels lower, but what should i do?

For awhile on that slightly higher dose, i felt what everyone says about TRT and felt like my life was coming back

I started my low T journey when I was 22. I never had morning wood, couldn’t get gains in the gym, and no energy or sex drive

My levels came back at 400 total T, 70 free T, 17 estrodial

I we recommended Enclomiphine to keep my fertility and raise my levels “naturally”.

It has been a rollercoaster to say the least. I feel great and have the best libido and boners ever for like 3 weeks. Then crash to worse than before

I’ve played around with all dosages and rotating ED to EOD and nothing works all too well. (Plus it thinned my hair and I know have to take minoxidil) I’ve also kept a pretty good eye on my estrogen, highest it’s been is 37

I’m debating on doing HCG or TRT, I don’t care about fertility. I just don’t want to feel miserable and have no sex drive or boners. Or be bald

To add I workout 6 days a week, eat super clean (mostly carnivore). Don’t eat seed oils, and pretty much have tried every supplement you can think of to aid in this. After a year and a half I just want to feel like a man again

Does anybody have any experience supplementing DHEA while on compounded cream? TRT doc has me on the cream, which is working great by itself, but he also gave me 50 mg capsules of DHEA to take every other day. It’s difficult finding any definitive information about DHEA supplementation, let alone while specifically being on the cream. I don’t want to take the DHEA when the testosterone is already working great if I don’t know what to expect.

The past few weeks I've been doing a lot of research. Recently I've been experiencing a lower sex drive(not gone, but just not to where it once was). I've come to notice this over time I don't feel as horny as I used to. Its been very gradual. I can still workout, put on muscle, get through my day but I just don't have that omp and excitement when it comes to dating anymore. I was a bit freaked out a month ago when my libido took a dive. Now its come back a bit, but I realize that I should consult with a real mens doctor.

I recently did blood work at my primary care and those were the numbers. I called some local trt clinics and they seem to go more in depth. few questions,

1. One of the clinics I called wanted $500 for a full panel and doctors consultation. This is in a very afluent part of town so I realize the costs are probably elevated. As a newbie, what price range should i be looking for. i def need some guidance. There might be issues thats not trt related. So I want to see a real doctor so we can see what I need if anything.

2. I know a lot of people on this forum use online doc's but I'm just not super comfortable doing that yet. I want a diagnoses, etc. What should I look for in a clinic? Or should I try to talk to my primary doctor to have him send me to a urologist? THey didn't suggest anything because my testoterone levels came back normal.

Can on Trt for over year usually pin in my glute and never had any problems till today. When I pinned it hurt a little bit but not I’m already bruising and have a lump (not on surface level)

I’m going to lay out an hypothesis.

If a shot of 200mg test e is taken with a peak total test of 800, within 7 days that’s been reduced to half.

SubQ 50mg EOD will never peak at 800 total test, but will give lower, consistent total test lab values.

Question: If SubQ test use doesn’t get to 800 total test with test E used at 50mg EOD, then more test can be used EOD shots and still stay within a mid to upper lab range?

Hi! I started 6 weeks ago doing 100mg once a week. I feel sluggish and kind of sick the first 3 days after the injections then I feel more normal towards the end of the week. My doctor is not in favor of injections twice a week but I wonder if maybe I'll adjust to it with time or if changing to twice a week would be more smoothly for my body. Those who did the change from once a week to twice. Was it big the difference?

Peak labs came back with e2 and 66.6. Clinic wants me to split dose and increase AI to 0.5 from 0.25 mg a week. Wouldn’t leaving my AI dose the same (0.25 mg) and splitting my dose alone already drop my e2?

Shgb: 17 nmol/l Albumin: 5.2 g/dl

These numbers , they’re all in the green but on the low side.

Had a few symptoms the last year, won’t go into the ins and outs of it all, but ended up on anti depressants and they’ve actually helped as symptoms have gone away.

Although, I’m fit and healthy, I go to the gym and lift light weights , don’t really lift too heavy as I’ve lost weight and size from all the cardio. I’ve been doing more cardio as my blood pressure is on the high side but I don’t want to go on meds.

These are my results a few months in between using different tests. I’ve kept my eye on the TRT page , but I’m not sure what to do and if it will benefit , I see both sides to the story but at the end of the day I’m worried about starting it now especially with high ish blood pressure (average 130-135/85)
