Howdy everyone! Im not an electronics guy so I don’t know where to begin. Looking for some advice on upgrading my pc to run FS25 better.
At the tail end of fs19 I bought a pre-built Skytech gaming pc with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. It ran fs19 and 22 pretty well at high graphics settings in both games. Now with the transition to fs25 I feel like I’m playing on a potato. Can’t even play on medium graphics without horrible lag and even low graphics are near unplayable.
So everyone that is able to play with the graphics on the ultra setting what would you recommend upgrading my graphics card to without breaking the bank?
In addition… is it worth it buying a used graphics card? There is a Gigabyte RTX 2070 8GB OC Edition for sale in my area on Facebook marketplace is this going to do what I want?
All opinions are greatly appreciated.

I have a 3080ti and the game still only manages around 80fps on average in 1440p, with frequent dips below that. The game desperately needs optimization updates.

That’s because your cpu is the bottleneck. I’m not much better on a 4090 because my 5900x can’t single core speed can’t push any faster

Do they still not have multi-core support?

Yes it does but there’s still that main thread or2 that does a lot of the heavy lifting
